Pedalman Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Re: Sitemap Well there are indeed many modules I wonder why they are listed... I am sure mine is not optimal set up :(
MockoB Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 I think all payment modules should be marked. I don't believe you need them indexed by google.
Pedalman Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 Ehm, marked or deactivated? All other modules also deactivated? I really to not get it why the modules are listed at all in the sitemap module. For a decade I thought sitemap content is pretty straight forward but there must be a good reason why this module lists the modules, too?!
MockoB Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 When they are marked, they are deactivated from listing in google. Maybe just leave unmarked the blog modules, index and stores. I think when you leave unmarked the blog modules then your blog content should be crawled and indexed easily.
Baarssen Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 the marked modules or pages are not indexed, so just look which you want to tick(and so not to be indexed). Its that easy.
Pedalman Posted March 3, 2018 Author Posted March 3, 2018 Yes, that is right and easy since it is also described there in the module that marked parts are not listed/indexed in the sitemap. But still I do not know why modules are listed at all. At least the once I see in my list make no sense to me being there at all as option. I hoped that somebody could explain the reason to me.
wakabayashi Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Well maybe it makes sense to import some modules. Think of a blog module...
