Generaal Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Front office complete distroying. What can I do to fix this? Best Regards, Roger http://erolust.be
wakabayashi Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Well you surely did some changes somewhere!? New module? Theme modification?
Generaal Posted March 5, 2018 Author Posted March 5, 2018 @wakabayashi I have modify some CMS pages, titels and afding a new page. But they want come up on the FO, then I have delete the cache files in Smarty cache and the theme cache.
MockoB Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Just suggestion - try to remove that code from htaccess file, like @Raithlin said it crashed his site. You maybe missed it earlier because it was cached in your browser.
Generaal Posted March 5, 2018 Author Posted March 5, 2018 The code was not afded to my test site, only on my life site..the test site runs without SSL certificate.
lesley Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Turn off CCC your style sheet is not loading. Make sure you have a cache directory in your theme.
lesley Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Actually turn it off for js too. It looks to not be loading files from the themes/your_theme/cache directory
Generaal Posted March 5, 2018 Author Posted March 5, 2018 Hello lesley, I have delete the files in the theme cache dir, not the index file. The cache dir are in my theme.
lesley Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Turn these settings to off, https://www.screencast.com/t/wmv6CGrs
Generaal Posted March 5, 2018 Author Posted March 5, 2018 Hello lesley, these are turned off, I have clean the cache in BO and FO, but nothing change.
lesley Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 There is something caching on your server. The pages are not being updated to reflect that those caches are disabled.
Generaal Posted March 5, 2018 Author Posted March 5, 2018 Well, I have a cache system on my server, come with PHP 7.0.10 version and these are running.
lesley Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 I would disable all caching opens everywhere, then start turning them back on. Then make sure this setting is always on, https://www.screencast.com/t/Da4GsLZAy and do not manually delete files from your caches.
Generaal Posted March 5, 2018 Author Posted March 5, 2018 Thank you, lesley for the quick response, the solution was: I have to turn off the last option!!
lesley Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Hmm weird. All that option does is not delete files. Do you delete files from your cache manually?
Generaal Posted March 5, 2018 Author Posted March 5, 2018 Yes lesley, I have delete all the files in the Smarty cache and in the theme cache, manualy, except the index files and the folders.
Generaal Posted March 5, 2018 Author Posted March 5, 2018 Ok, I wil remember that! I have do this so many times in the PS version...
lesley Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Right, but the reason for that setting is so that if something caches the front end, like Google or a full page cache, it does not break. Its actually there specifically for the problem you had.
Generaal Posted March 5, 2018 Author Posted March 5, 2018 Thanks lesley for you explenations for this, are the other settings right? (picture previous post)
lesley Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 No worries. They are right. I would disable them all if you are working on the site though.
