Havouza Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 A while ago I saw an article about updating between 1.0.3 and 1.0.4. Now I cant find it. Any? And if we have 1.0.4 can we then use the updater to update to latest version?
datakick Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 I believe you can use coreupdater module to update to 1.0.8 directly from 1.0.3
Traumflug Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 True. Core Updater takes care of all these extra steps for updating beyond 1.0.3. 1
Havouza Posted April 24, 2019 Author Posted April 24, 2019 (edited) The Core Updater saythirty bees compatibility: 1.0.5+. We have 1.0.3 Edited April 24, 2019 by Havouza
Traumflug Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 You mean this page https://store.thirtybees.com/shop-modules/administration/core-updater ? That's plain wrong 🙂 It also says "PHP 5.5", which is wrong as well; it requires at least PHP 5.6. One can find Core Updater in the module list in back office. There should be no such issues.
Havouza Posted April 25, 2019 Author Posted April 25, 2019 OK I will have a go. I have taken a snapshot if something goes wrong Just a quesstion. Does it also update the db? I am sure there is new tables in the newer versions Anders
Havouza Posted April 25, 2019 Author Posted April 25, 2019 OK done! Seem to have worked without a problem. Thanks
