Combinations csv only imports first product in each category

Question

Posted

Only the first product in each category is getting imported even though the import confirmation page shows 3515 products validated and imported:

Screenshot of only one product in the category and it should have at least 20.

@jnsgioia said in Combinations csv only imports first product in each category:

@alwayspaws I used the the one included in the 1.01 folder released April 26th. The current one on github is the one with the problem (unless @mdekker has it fixed by now.)

Thank you for your help @jnsgioia

I replaced classes/product.php from 1.01 folder released April 26th. The one on github caused problems.

I split my csv into seven smaller csv's. Imported each for products and combinations. Reindexed. Rebuilt entire index. Cleared admin cache and three browser caches. Closed and reopened two browsers.

Images are not showing up for half my products in the BO and almost all are not showing up in front office.

Combinations attributes are no longer showing up, either. They were, before.

The only good thing is that my products are again assigned correctly to the subcategories via csv. I have, at most, assigned certain products to three categories. I want to keep it that way.

@Global-Moderators @wakabayashi @roband7 Can any of you please look at this and help me fix it before I put my site back into maintenance? I can't have a site that has all question marks online. Tnx

Now I just discovered by replacing those files - two or three files - I lost the attributes which is why the combinations aren't working.

I deleted all the products again and will restore my site back to a week ago. And pray!

yes, I split one into 7 csv's with 500 lines each. I only have 252 products so I think the split ones should work fine. Or should I split them further?

Ok I'll see what happens when I split up the one I already split and edit the split csv's to make sure the combinations stay together.

Thanks!

:) I hope this question is related to this topic: Do I add all the other images manually for all the combinations? Or is there a module or shortcut included in thirty bees? I need to add the different colors.

I have the attributes but I need to show people the various colors like for this shirt:

Because we need the same in the Swedish shop with a lot of different fabrics on office furniture I bought a quite cheap PS module called mass combinations update. There you can just tick which image should be shown on each combination

Yes, it settles the csv import issues!

The image cannot be saved message may possibly point to different issues in a product's information.

When I manually added the product that would not import I discovered the meta title was too long.

@alwayspaws this is how it looks when you open a product with combinations in BO. You see the combination to the left and then you just tick the box on the pick the should be shown when the customer chooses0_1497328728084_Screenshot 2017-06-13 07.32.54.png the combination. All pictures are shown in the slide under the picture
