alwayspaws Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Only the first product in each category is getting imported even though the import confirmation page shows 3515 products validated and imported: Screenshot of only one product in the category and it should have at least 20.
0 alwayspaws Posted June 10, 2017 Author Posted June 10, 2017 @jnsgioia said in Combinations csv only imports first product in each category: @alwayspaws I used the the one included in the 1.01 folder released April 26th. The current one on github is the one with the problem (unless @mdekker has it fixed by now.) Thank you for your help @jnsgioia I replaced classes/product.php from 1.01 folder released April 26th. The one on github caused problems. I split my csv into seven smaller csv's. Imported each for products and combinations. Reindexed. Rebuilt entire index. Cleared admin cache and three browser caches. Closed and reopened two browsers. Images are not showing up for half my products in the BO and almost all are not showing up in front office. Combinations attributes are no longer showing up, either. They were, before. The only good thing is that my products are again assigned correctly to the subcategories via csv. I have, at most, assigned certain products to three categories. I want to keep it that way.
0 alwayspaws Posted June 10, 2017 Author Posted June 10, 2017 @mdekker said in Combinations csv only imports first product in each category: Yeah a few changes to the way products and categories were imported, there were bugs. Still not working for me. I'm going to take the store out of maintenance so people know what's going on and possibly can benefit from this discussion.
0 alwayspaws Posted June 10, 2017 Author Posted June 10, 2017 @Global-Moderators @wakabayashi @roband7 Can any of you please look at this and help me fix it before I put my site back into maintenance? I can't have a site that has all question marks online. Tnx
0 jnsgioia Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 @alwayspaws Have you tried Preferences - images - Regenerate thumbnails?

I tried this just now and it did not work. After regenerating I cleared cache and browser cache and now it looks like this:
0 alwayspaws Posted June 11, 2017 Author Posted June 11, 2017 Now I just discovered by replacing those files - two or three files - I lost the attributes which is why the combinations aren't working. I deleted all the products again and will restore my site back to a week ago. And pray!
0 alwayspaws Posted June 11, 2017 Author Posted June 11, 2017 What about using the split csv's? Should I contact them about this to see if they can fix it?
0 alwayspaws Posted June 11, 2017 Author Posted June 11, 2017 yes, I split one into 7 csv's with 500 lines each. I only have 252 products so I think the split ones should work fine. Or should I split them further?
0 alwayspaws Posted June 11, 2017 Author Posted June 11, 2017 five files - what do you mean by last 52? The last 52 products?
0 alwayspaws Posted June 11, 2017 Author Posted June 11, 2017 Ok I'll see what happens when I split up the one I already split and edit the split csv's to make sure the combinations stay together. http://filesplit.org/ Thanks!
0 alwayspaws Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 @mdekker said in Combinations csv only imports first product in each category: Yup. That did the trick. Also this module is very useful for image regeneration on shared hosting: https://github.com/meetjey/imageRegeneratorPrestashop I have a website! Thank you so much for the help and installing this module. The image regenerator fixed my missing images. I'm so excited! :)
0 alwayspaws Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 @mdekker said in Combinations csv only imports first product in each category: I installed it on your store. Thank you! I'm trying to mark it solved.
0 alwayspaws Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 Oh, okay. Thank you. I'll be bragging about thirty bees on Facebook and Twitter, among others.
0 alwayspaws Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 :) I hope this question is related to this topic: Do I add all the other images manually for all the combinations? Or is there a module or shortcut included in thirty bees? I need to add the different colors.
0 alwayspaws Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 I have the attributes but I need to show people the various colors like for this shirt: https://www.alwayspaws.com/dog-shirt-for-shelter-and-rescue-dogs-printed-with-adopt-me-and-paw-print
0 Havouza Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Because we need the same in the Swedish shop with a lot of different fabrics on office furniture I bought a quite cheap PS module called mass combinations update. There you can just tick which image should be shown on each combination
0 alwayspaws Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 I'm going to check that out ... again. You told me about it before. :)
0 alwayspaws Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 @Havouza This one? https://addons.prestashop.com/en/fast-mass-updates/17917-mass-combinations-update.html
0 jnsgioia Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 @mdekker Thank you. I revised those two files and the upload works as it should :)
0 alwayspaws Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 Yes, it settles the csv import issues! The image cannot be saved message may possibly point to different issues in a product's information. When I manually added the product that would not import I discovered the meta title was too long.
0 Havouza Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 @alwayspaws this is how it looks when you open a product with combinations in BO. You see the combination to the left and then you just tick the box on the pick the should be shown when the customer chooses the combination. All pictures are shown in the slide under the picture

I'll get it as soon as possible.
