vzex Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 Using giftcard 3 module from PS but the translation won't save when I change the wording. Would this be a TB issue or the module is not compatible? If it's the module is there a TB gift certificate option in the future? ;) This one seems to be working well except for the translation and if you change the card image it changes product text back to module default text so it has to be edited again. Unless I'm still having caching issues!
lesley Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 Is the change saved in the back office? Do you have your cache set to force compile and caching set to off?
vzex Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 @lesley Yes BO does save translations>installed modules>community theme>english BO performance all set to NO debug mode>YES force compile is checked caching>no smarty cache>no even clicked clear cache FO translations don't save Thinking it was still my browser cache issue again but chrome safari and firefox DO NOT show changes
lesley Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Is there any error in the error log when you try to save?
lesley Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 But when you go back to the module, the translations are not saved in the module?
vzex Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 The translations are saved in module translations but not ALL of them are saved to the actual web page. The part that isn't changing on the web page is for a form submission for the customer's product customization they want on the gift card. The green highlighted parts DO save for module translations, but DO NOT change on web page Even checked deleting chrome cache text doesn't change for firefox or safari either Everything else seems to work
x97wehner Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Did you ever get this working correctly? I'm having an issue where it leaves the voucher/card open for all. It's not adding the customer to it to lock it down.
vzex Posted December 17, 2018 Author Posted December 17, 2018 @x97wehner No, didn't get it to work so I deleted the module.
x97wehner Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 @vzex Thanks. Yeah, I'm scrapping it as well
