I have escalated this issue with my host, here is the response after 2-3 days....

Just installed on localhost via wamp, this time with no issues, I'm wondering what to do now....... Well, I opened up a free hosting account, it does the same thing.... I assume this is some sort of file issue, and not a server issue, or a db issue. Remember, you edit a product, then go edit another, then another, i may not get it the first time i try, but the error will pop up, and make it so I cant edit the product. I guess the error is a little different, here it is on a free hosting site....

I have never had this issue either, I have called my hosting company, hopefully they can help me.....

So I call my host and say what? What kinda problem am I telling them I have? Cause we both know that they arent going to give a rats ass about me, and the problems I'm having with one piece of software. I need this problem resolved as I cannot edit products atm.

I'd like to re-iterate that most times when I go into edit a product, that it works once, but when I go and try to edit another right away, it then errors out on me. I am using Bleeding Edge as of today, on php 8.0 if it matters, which it doesnt seems to, as I'm running 1.4.0 on another system, running on php 7.4, and its doing the same thing.

The 2nd pic i shared was from my server log, after trying to edit a product...

couldnt be part of a recent tweak, as it is happening for me on a clean 1.4.0 install, as well as bleeding edge. IF i goto one product, it typically works for me, usually, but when i try to goto the next product and edit it, the error will occur, and from there out....

hmmm. so i even did a clean install, and it still does this. Must be a server thing, but what could it be? I get the following in my server error logs..

With Bleeding Edge atm, you cannot delete anything out of your cart via the carts dropdown, when I try I get the following... When I go back to 1.4.0, no problems. This was using community-theme-default theme if it matters....

So, I've got this new error poping up when I try and edit a product, any thoughts on how I can fix it? I went to bleeding edge hoping that would somehow fix it, it did not. As you can tell, I can now no longer get to the Images down to the Suppliers tabs....not good

I didn't d/l via github, just used the TB Modules and Services.. This is what my test bleeding edge site looks like... BO top left... settings.inc.php

What version of TB are you running? 1.4.0? Bleeding edge? what?... Assuming you are running 1.4.0, I would backup your mails folder in the theme you are using, then delete the mails folder altogether, and see if it reverts back to the /mails/en emails as it should.

BO>Advanced Parameters>E-Mail..... down at the bottom of the screen that comes up you can test your email configuration, does that work for you?

edit: removed quote I hope by this time you have d/l, installed and messed around with this module enough to use it. If you still have issues, I am willing to try and help on any setup type problems you have. I dont claim to be an expert coder or anything else for that matter, but I use this GREAT module, and am willing to try and help were I can. @wakabayashiI'm sorry I'm not a better wordsmith, and could help get the word out somehow about this module. I hope you have not given up on it entirely, and that you will give it a little more love in the future. I noticed on github that you had made some mods to it about 4 months ago, I am currently running with those with no issues I'm aware of. If you ever need me to help ya with it again, I'm game!!...

I have a few thoughts for whatever it's worth. I am trying version 0.9.2 of Chex, and find the following, others have mentioned some of these things, so I'll be repeating some things. Please ignore the non-stock theme and products.... 1) With the cart, as in this pic, it would be nice to have +/- on the quantity someplace. I know you can hit edit and do it, but that's a little cumbersome for some people. 2) A 'Cart' icon might be nice before the word Cart. 3) It would be nice if one could click on the product and be taken to it's page. 4) When a person has a coupon, and its set to be viewable, it would be nice if it showed up, maybe just after the last line, and before the enter coupon code/add coupon controls, or, maybe afterwards..... As my site only ships to the US, it would be nice if the country selectors, both at the top, and inline on the customers address, were not there at all. Seems like more steps than one needs. I'm not even sure whey the top country/state selectors are there to begin with, just to give a guest customer a shipping guesstimate? Why bother as you cant really check out as a customer, guest or otherwise, without a full address. Also, if the admin has it setup, it would be nice to see a message saying 'Spend another $x to get free shipping for your order!' someplace. Being able to move the different 'blocks' around, like 'cart', or 'shipping and billing address', or 'confirmation', ect. Being able to put them into 1 to maybe 3 columns, and then move the 'blocks' around.... Great job on the module, it looks like its got some real potential!!

So I get the ole "Oh snap! We have encountered an error" when I try to use updater to do anything. I've tried going to bleeding edge, I've tried going to stable/1.4.0, same error. When I go to bleeding edge for example, it will give me that error, and log me out. I log back in, and it still says 1.4.0, instead of 1.5 or 1.4.x, or whatever it it supposed to show, but says there is nothing to update. Needless to say when i get that error message, and I see simple things like the version number not getting changed, I start to wonder if the whole process is messed. Any input would be appreciated.....

I have a suggestion, I opened a ticket for it just for fun, to remind you if you think its a good idea, if not, please delete the ticket. I think it would be nice that you could pick a sub-selection of the admin theme, that is 'Light' or 'Dark', and would effect whatever admin theme you have selected. It would simply make the theme you selected (Thirtybees, Blue, Flex, Fruit, Prune, ext.) 'Dark'(Black and Grays), or 'Light' (White and Grays, the way it is now). This selection would just be put below the theme selection on the current admin page that you use to select your theme. It woule also be nice to have a selector elsewhere that would do the same for the admin login page. Just incase you didnt have enough on your plate already....;) As this would undoubtedly be a difficult thing to do, I suggest if others like the idea we crowd fund it.
