So there is place for tag, but there isn't value for this. Simply. For solution remove the place or put the value. If You can put here some example of this file it's easier to help.

@lauraj

Your main problem is probably with the setting of the CSV file. Everything is comma separated. Columns with several values should be separated on the best way, eg by semicolon.

Ok. First it seems that there is misconfiguration. There are fields and multiple values. They need different type of separator, but looks like there's only comma in ths csv. So the program don't understand that this field contains many values. You need to separate these values with something else that comma. This can be very tricky to generate csv with proper separator.

maximum character amount of tags (including spacetab) is about 347, when importing via csv-import function. If you import more, you generate the same error

I fixed mine by replacing all commas with semicolon in the Tags and Meta Keywords columns. It can be done quickly when you're using Ablebits Excel extension. Then, I made sure those empty columns to set as "Ignore this column" in the matching process. Also avoid trailing or extra semicolons in the cell.

Example tags:

heart health;immune support;vitamins;   -- this is wrong

heart health;immune support;vitamins --- correct
