Jason Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Can this software handle manual payment methods? My store will need all items to have this method and all other payment methods need to be removed. Once the order is received and invoice is manually sent to the customer. If so, can you point me in the right direction or to documentation to accomplish this? Manual payment methods Some customers don't want to pay for their orders using a credit card. These customers can still place their orders online if you set up a manual payment method. When your customers use a manual payment method, you can arrange to receive their payment outside your online checkout. After you receive the payment, you can then manually approve the order.
wakabayashi Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Hello Check the module "Custom payment methods". With this it should be possible. 1
cprats Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 You could also use "Bankwire Module" and instead of giving a bank account number through it, you could write down instructions on other offline payment methods, or offer them alongside with a bank account number if you need this module to enable bank wires. 1
Jason Posted February 26, 2020 Author Posted February 26, 2020 The documentation link for custom payment methods returned a page not found error - https://docs.thirtybees.com/merchants-guide/native-modules/custompayments/ - Is there an updated link? As an alternative, I think the bankwire module could work if I can change all of the wording through the checkout process. I'll probably have to dig into the code for that.
haylau Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 That is weird that the link does not work. From that page use the menu on the left hand side > Native Modules > Custom Payment methods The documentation is there, which strangely does have that URL that does not work
