@alwayspaws You need to enter the category ID of the parent category in Entity ID. So go into Catalog > Categories to find the ID of the parent section. That's all you need to do (assuming your categories imported correctly and you have main categories with sub categories within them).

I thought "home" was the parent. I don't see a number for it.

I have categories and subcategories because I can view them in admin: Example: Home / Grooming CATEGORIES: GROOMING subcategories: hair bows, bowties, etc.

This makes sense when I read it but when I go to the form, I don't know which is the parent section.

It sounds like you imported all your categories under home.

I personally separate my categories as follows

Home - Main Category -sub category -sub category -sub category - Main Category -sub category -sub category

So I might have 5 main categories and all related categories under each one of those. Then on the menu, the headings are the main categories and when you click on them it drops down to all the sub categories

On your test site it seems to be working exactly like that though?

You have Dog Lovers Jewelry as the main heading and then the sub categories drop down underneath it????

Why are the sub categories not going under the parent category then? Should it be "Home;Dog Clothes" rather than just "Dog Clothe

Yes, it should be home, Dog Clothes and the related Dog clothes subcategories. Don't know why it's displaying the way it is but it doesn't display at all on my TB site.
