Pedalman Posted yesterday at 02:37 PM Posted yesterday at 02:37 PM Well, after running TB with the 3rd party "Warehouse" theme I thought I should try the Niara theme since I saw that Datakick is still doing some work on in on the git repo. And if that isn't a sign of trust I do not know 🙂 Anyhow, I already stumble about the first things. How do we use it? How do we configure it? How do we style the homepage of our shops? AI gave me these hints:  If you are using the Niara Theme (the modern standard theme of thirty bees), the breakdown is almost identical (to the old community theme), but with one important distinction: Template Configurator: This module remains responsible for your banners, graphics, promotional images, and HTML blocks on the homepage. You use it primarily to control the visual content elements within the Niara layout grid. Community Theme Settings: This module is technically tailored to the old Community Theme. If you are actively using the Niara Theme, many of the specific design and layout toggles within this module will not work. Note: Although Niara was historically developed based on the Community Theme, it comes with its own fixed CSS and SASS structures. Setting changes in the "Community Theme Settings" module (such as specific color palettes or header styles) are mostly ignored by the Niara Theme. Summary for Niara: Use the Template Configurator for banners and images. To make deeper design adjustments to Niara (e.g., custom colors or layout columns), you generally manage this directly through the advanced theme settings under Preferences > Themes or via custom CSS/SASS in the theme folder, as the "Community Theme Settings" module is not fully compatible with it.
the.rampage.rado Posted yesterday at 02:45 PM Posted yesterday at 02:45 PM Did you try the module and the options it gives you? In general if you migrated from Warehouse you will see that Niara is far less configurable.
Pedalman Posted 8 hours ago Author Posted 8 hours ago This is, you are referring to?  The first offers nothing really, and the second a bit more, but hey, that is too less in order so customzise a template  I miss everthing, from colors and fonts, menu, etc.  I want to run a fast and nice template with Thirtybees. And why should that be the one that Thirtybees comes with?
the.rampage.rado Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago It would be perfect, but it needs a lot of work.Â
Pedalman Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago Is there an answer to my question? Does a how to exist how to make use of the Niagra theme or is it obsolete?
