  1. @lesley - For your client who is an anonymous donor to our crowdfunding ElasticSearch Module - thank you very much for believing in our project and for your generous donation!
  2. Thank you for your help and patience! That did it!
  3. @lesley Need a bit more advice, please. I updated the homepage image and, yes, I know it says "carousel", but for now how can I just have one image there? I turned off autoplay but it shows my image and the demo image.
  4. @lesley said in How to add a slide to the top with transformer theme?: Instead of clicking the edit button from the drop down next to the slider click the view button. Like in this video, https://www.screencast.com/t/hBA0a7rjFw5W it will take you where you can add slides and edit them. Thank you, Lesley. I see the other two in the list have images, so I can update them now. I thought I had to create my own after reading the docs.
  5. @lesley I activated the Owl Carousel and don't see where to import an image. Here are the settings on that entire page: and second half of page:
  6. @dynambee Oh I see. I don't know if my theme has that option but I went back to the page and the product does not show that I've added it to the cart. I'd like that option, too! Very sorry, Anna.
  7. I've been searching the settings in my transformer theme and can't find where to upload the image to use for the top of my page. Shown in the screenshot:
  8. @annafjmorris I have this option in my transformer theme. I took the screenshot with my iPhone. If it's too big I'll adjust it when I'm back on my desktop.
  9. @dynambee Thank you for the acknowledgement, Ian. I tend to do as much as possible to bring attention to thirty bees on Facebook and Twitter. Thirty bees is a phenomenal group of people working together towards the same goals and I'm proud to be a part of this group.
  10. @vincentdenkspel Thank you so much from all of us! Dear Anonymous donor - thank you so much, too, from all of us! thank you @lesley for your generous perk donations!
  11. @dynambee said in Let's talk about Search!: Great progress has been made toward's crowdfunding the ElasticSearch module! It's currently at $1747 out of a needed $2300. If anyone has been meaning to donate but hasn't done so yet, now would be a great time! There are still two Presto Changeo discount coupons available. Donate at least $75 and get 40% off the entire total of one checkout at Presto Changeo. Buy one module or ten, get 40% off your entire cart's total! There are also two of @lesley's generously donated support packages remaining. One for 2 hours ($125 donation) and one for 10 hours ($500 donation). Support the ES module and save a bundle on your support needs! @mdekker will be developing the ES module. By donating to this project you are helping support one of the key 30bz developers, too. Let's make it happen! Let's make it happen, people, just as @dynambee outlined. Very generous perks, too, for supporting crowdfunding the Elastic Search module. It's up to $1752.00 now and growing!
  12. @DavidP said in Let's talk about Keyword Research!: @alwayspaws I'd also recommend the Twitter tool hashtagify.me because with no backlinks for a new website you need to get seen still and I find that very handy for getting my products seen by other companies. In case you don't know it, it's a keyword research tool for Twitter to give you an idea of what people are looking for / posting. Whilst I personally don't find it that good in the B2C it's very good for B2B. I'd suggest using that in conjunction with HootSuite to monitor your main Twitter keywords. Again both tools have free limited use. I signed up for the free hootsuite app and don't need more than that right now, anyway. I only have one account each of the social apps. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction, David
  13. I looked back at when I first asked sunnytoo to support thirty bees and it was March 25, 2017, before I bought the theme. :)
  14. In my example, I do have unique SKU's. SKU : 175-1 and SKU : 175-33 along with each option selected, so I'm set there. About the product names themselves: is it okay to have the name "Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme" for each instance of this particular product?
  15. Thank you @roband7 I updated my reply! Also I have another question about this. Do I have to have a unique name for every single instance of each color and size of the same product?
  16. @roband7 - the thing is I don't want to use SKU's. What else can I use for reference codes, please? Here is what a product looks like on my live site: https://www.alwayspaws.com/dog-clothes/dog-dresses/studded-biker-motorcycle-outline-dog-dress and this is what it looks like when they add to cart: Studded Biker Motorcycle Outline Dog Dress SKU : 175-1 size : teacup, color : black, studs : blue and here is for another choice: Studded Biker Motorcycle Outline Dog Dress SKU : 175-33 size : SM, color : hot pink, studs : pink So, apparently, I have a unique SKU. Right?
  17. @roband7 and @Havouza - it seems from what you're both saying that maybe I did it correctly the first time and don't need to change anything. This is what I did, showing one dress with two colors and the same dress with the different colored hem: 246 246 246-36 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color SM,red 246 246 246-37 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color MD,red 246 246 246-38 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color LG,red 246 246 246-39 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color XL,red 246 246 246-40 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color 2XL,red 246 246 246-41 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color 3XL,red 246 246 246-42 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color 4X,red 246 246 246-43 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color SM,white 246 246 246-44 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color MD,white 246 246 246-45 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color LG,white 246 246 246-46 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color XL,white 246 246 246-47 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color 2XL,white 246 246 246-48 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color 3XL,white 246 246 246-49 Summer Dog Dress Ruffled Hem Beach Ocean Sea Theme size, color 4X,white 256 256 256-50 Dog Dress with Ruffled Hem Summer Beach Ocean in Black With Bright Pink size, color SM,BlackBrightPink 256 256 256-51 Dog Dress with Ruffled Hem Summer Beach Ocean in Black With Bright Pink size, color MD,BlackBrightPink 256 256 256-52 Dog Dress with Ruffled Hem Summer Beach Ocean in Black With Bright Pink size, color LG,BlackBrightPink 256 256 256-53 Dog Dress with Ruffled Hem Summer Beach Ocean in Black With Bright Pink size, color XL,BlackBrightPink 256 256 256-54 Dog Dress with Ruffled Hem Summer Beach Ocean in Black With Bright Pink size, color 2XL,BlackBrightPink Does it look like it's right? Or am I missing something?
  18. I have products that are almost the same but a slight difference. The slightly different ones only come in certain sizes, unlike the rest of the product. I want to keep the designs together. For example, one dog dress product ID is 100. It comes in 13 colors and 7 sizes. In addition, it comes with a different colored hem (5 different styles) that only come in 4 sizes. Black dress with red hem instead of all black, for instance, is one example. See screenshot, please. How to keep them together on the same page? If the regular colors are item #100, will it work if I use #item 100A or 100-A? What can I use please? I have dozens of these dog dresses like this. The screenshot is an example from my test site. Note: The images won't be in that order on the live site. Size charts, American flag and measuring dogs will be at the end of the dress images. Thank you! Stephanie!
  19. @lesley said in How can a brand-new website get back links?: Ok, the easiest way to build back links if you have an address that can be published is to build what are called local citations. The best search engine for finding local citations I have found is whitespark.ca. Basically you go there and search with your area and your business type and it gives you links to local businesses that have citation type sites where you can create profiles. Think of sites like citysearch, yelp, mechantscircle, ect. Whitespark is a search engine that finds sites like that so you can create profiles for your company. Those are the absolute safest types of links to create. Sorry to repeat quote but I want it together. I'm waiting for Google's postcard so I can verify my site with them. Then I can try to build relationships / create profiles. My question now is: Is this old-timey stuff or do I create a "partners", "friends" or some other name for a page and keep all new links on one page? Or where would I put backlinks when I get them?
  20. @DavidP I checked out hashtagify.me and am in love! lol. I wasn't aware of this and I'm on Twitter a lot.
  21. @DavidP I don't have a physical store or I'd do that. What the conversation meant was if I had a "real" address I can do what @lesley said: "finding local citations with whitespark.ca." I have limited myself to only selling in the contiguous US, because I know the nightmares. Been there, done that. Not doing it again. This was on a previous website. I'm open for more suggestions!
