  1. It is not off topic in my book! I love Twitter. Thanks again for this! I stayed away from hootsuite bc I don't think they have a free version any more, but will check it out again. We'll be successful now that we're at #thirtybees
  2. Wait! I don't have the default theme. Do I select "no" to update the default theme?
  3. OK. doing it now! TY. I already backed up the site this a.m.
  4. OK, thanks, but I'm a little afraid. Will you help if I screw up? lol
  5. @Traumflug @mdekker - Now that the new release is out, what is the maximum file size for imports? And can it be increased? I haven't upgraded yet, but I just tried to import a 52kb .ods file and it was 100% validated but then said "errors" and didn't complete the import.
  6. No budget so everything must be free until I get off the ground. (I'm really underground, but let's not talk about that. lol) I looked at all three and saved the links to these tools. Thank you very much @DavidP
  7. I just read that "you don’t have to run an active campaign to use the Google Keyword Planner, but you’ll need to fully set up an Adwords account". Does anyone here use the Google Keyword Planner who does not run Google adword campaigns? Reference: http://backlinko.com/keyword-research which I got from this article from my subscription to Website Magazine: https://www.websitemagazine.com/channels/mastering-search Thanks!
  8. This looks pretty good and so many well known brands use it.
  9. Since I can't afford to go higher than shared hosting, I'll refrain from making comments, especially since I don't have knowledge in this area. :)
  10. Go team! We ask and we receive... we hope! :)
  11. @Traumflug We understood what you meant.
  12. @Traumflug Does it work with Elastic Search? This is the problem @jnsgioia and I are having. We're on shared servers.
  13. Follow up in email (I really hounded the poor guy. lol)
  14. Alt text (image captions) with an apostrophe shows ampersand pound sign 039 semicolon s instead of an apostrophe when mousing over viewed products:
  15. @dynambee said in Let's talk about Search!: The best mail provider is, IMO, Google. However it costs $5 a month per user. You can have more than one email address for no extra charge but they will all end up in one mailbox. There are other hosted solutions too, such as hosted Microsoft Exchange which can also be very good. Like Google Apps this is typically around $5 a month for a reasonable amount of storage on a reliable host. Zoho offers a free hosted mail service for domains with up to 12 users. There are some caveats however including that there is absolutely no support provided for their free accounts. Zoho is a decent option but it's definitely not as good as Google Apps. In the end you get what you pay for. Cloudways also offers an addon solution, email hosted by Rackspace. I don't know much about this as I haven't tried it (we use Google Apps) but it seems it costs $1/month per email address. If you only need one email address then this might be the easiest & cheapest solution. I like Google but do you use an @gmail.com account or alwayspaws@---- at what? @lesley We use rackspace for thirty bees mails. It seems to work well. Good to know. It still doesn't make sense for me to move from SiteGround to Cloudways because I can't afford a VPS. I guess my part of these questions is for future reference. I have high hopes. lol!
  16. I was just about to write a review for thirty bees, but don't see where to review it.
  17. No budget, no employees, no sales. USA. OK? (tnx. I feel so good now). [sorry] will delete this later.
  18. I asked Jonny Li aka sunnytoo - the developer of the Transformer and Panda themes if he will support thirtybees and he doesn't have time, because he's working on PS 1.7 updates. I just visited @lesley's link above and posted this: Hello, Jonny, I am very successfully using your Transformer Theme with thirty bees (https://forum.thirtybees.com/) and more and more people are leaving PS to come and join us. Many of us use your Transformer or Panda Themes and we are a very forward-thinking group. I hope you'll have time to look at it because I'm pretty sure that you'll see how easily you can adapt your themes to our open source web development model. Transformer and #Panda theme users: the link to add your comment is here: https://themeforest.net/item/transformer-responsive-prestashop-theme/5095795/comments?page=141&filter=all#comment_16987311
  19. Does anyone here use cloudways and a third party mail system? If you do, please share your thoughts on it and what the best third party mail system is ... before I ask the thirtybees team to create one! lol!
  20. @rubben1985 said in How did you arrive here at Thirty Bees? Tell your story!: @mdekker said in How did you arrive here at Thirty Bees? Tell your story!: lol, so my (angry) post had some use :P Yeah, the module never really worked on 1.7. I can remember how the first 1.7.0.x couldn't even accept payments directly (set to Payment accepted status would crash the Front Office). It looks like it runs a lot better on thirty bees though ^^ I have not migrate yet, but I am here also because that post hahaha That's wonderful, @rubben1985 I'm sure the more you hang out here, the more you'll want to migrate. :)

Everything runs better on thirty bees!
  22. @jnsgioia said in How did you arrive here at Thirty Bees? Tell your story!: I was using MDekker's stripe module on my PS 1.7 site (which I was having some issues with) and saw a reference to TB on the PS forum when he said he wouldn't be supporting the module there anymore so I went looking for it. It's amazing but terrific how we have all gathered here! PS 1.7 has brought a lot of issues to merchants that we can do without. Thanks for looking for @mdekker's module!
