lesley Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 In the coming versions there are actually going to be a lot of changes, the feed is going to kind of go away I am thinking, that is the plan at least.
lesley Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Is it gone now? It might take a minute to propagate through the cdn.
lesley Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Great, I did not realize that @mdekker built in version compatibility to the feed. It looks like that one got missed in the new feed deployment.
lesley Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 no problem. The next one should be better we are hoping. We are planning to add a few new features to it.
SLiCK_303 Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 one of my test sites is white screening when I goto Customers>Shopping carts, with this as an error.. Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /var/www/vhosts/paganliving.net/thirtybees.paganliving.net/controllers/admin/AdminCartsController.php on line 146
lesley Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Can you make a bug report. Also in the bug report let us know what version of php you are using. Also changing that line to this $context = Context::getContext(); should fix it.
SLiCK_303 Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 right...one test site works, with a php of 7.1.12, the other one php 5.6.32 isnt working
lesley Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 argh the hell of so many in common use php versions.
SLiCK_303 Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 I'm trying really hard not to update my production site to RC1.....ACK! Someone talk me out of it quick!!
SLiCK_303 Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Can anyone tell me the ramifications of upgrading my site to RC1? Will everyone else not on RC1 be able to use the updater to get to 1.0.4 and I wont? How much is the db going to change from RC1 to release?
lesley Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 I wouldn't do it, its a release candidate, we are finding a few bugs in it so far, nothing major yet. But that is not to say there aren't any major issues. Its safest to wait, because we might not be able to get bug fixes pushed on a timeline that would suit a live shop.
SLiCK_303 Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Ah....the voice of reason. Thanx for your input.
lixotuka Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Any news about 1.0.4? I'm planning to migrate soon.
lesley Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 We are going to pack the second release candidate soon, we are just trying to make sure everything is fixed.
Baarssen Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 maybe we can unpack it under the christmas tree ?:)
SLiCK_303 Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 i vote for sooner! ;) Maybe tomarrow, my wife b-day? :)
lesley Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 We can't jump the gun, we have to wait until there is enough feedback and it is stable.
SLiCK_303 Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 I've done a clean install of 1.0.x, and updated one of my test sites to 1.0.x files. All seems well so far.
DavidP Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Is the RC2 going to be released soon or is it still in testing? I looked at the commits for the 1.0.x branch and it seems to have 95 commits since the RC1 release so wanted to check if the RC2 would include all of them as well and if so when. Thanks.
lesley Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 We have a couple more commits dealing with webp and a couple other enhancements we are trying to fit in before the release.
Tomik Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Would i be able to upgrade RC1 to RC2 or would it require a clean install
SLiCK_303 Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 From what I've seen, I don't think there are any DB changes, so you should just be able to copy the RC2 files over the RC1 files and be good to go.
