Chris1d Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Hi everyone, Trying to setup my thirtybees site but I can't work out how to remove the tax exc after the price of an item. I've removed all taxes from the country and disabled everything but it still comes up tax exc on the product page next to the price. Can anyone help please? Chris
SeaSky Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Hello Chris1d, I don't know if it is the best solution, but what you can do is go to localization>translations>front office transaltions / your theme / your language, expand all text and replace "tax exc" with a space. It's a temporary solution that will work while someone else gives you a better idea. You can also use css to hide it until someone gives you a better answer.
led24ee Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 I'm not sure I understand Your problem. You need price with tax or price without tax ? There are Menu -> Customer -> Groups where You can choose how each group can see prices.
Traumflug Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 I wonder why you see this at all. A default installation doesn't show this label: https://front.thirtybees.com/gifts/soap
Traumflug Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Found it: it's a setting in back office -> Localization -> Countries -> (edit country). Which means, one can enable/disable this label for each country individually.
Occam Posted August 18, 2019 Posted August 18, 2019 That's not quite true, because even when the VAT label is switched off the bankwire module still displays the label "tax incl." In the checkout when a request for payment is made.
Chris1d Posted September 9, 2019 Author Posted September 9, 2019 Hi, my issues is I don't charge tax. Yet. So I don't need the tax included or excluded next to each price on the product pages.
