30knees Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 I'd like to bulk select orders and then bulk send them an email that I can draft in a window or select from some templates. Does anybody know of such a module? I can't find anything but it's such a basic thing.

You could do this in most digital marketing tools using a data attribute (Examples: Orders in last 7 days or people that bought product 'a' this month) to build that customer segment. Then send the email to them. Honestly, I do a ton of CRM and ERP work for a living and I've never had your request come up before that I can think of. Typically the goals is automation and it's assembled similar to how I explained.
30knees Posted February 8, 2024 Author Posted February 8, 2024 Good point. I've never used any digital marketing tools. Just a normal newsletter service without any customer segmenting. I wanted to switch the newsletter service. Perhaps the new one can take order information from tb. My use case for the enquiry was to bulk email orders/customers if there's a delay at the warehouse or similar.
Ucociyin Posted Wednesday at 05:21 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:21 PM I came across this older discussion and wanted to add that some newer third‑party mailer modules now let you filter orders and send template emails in one go. Have you checked modules that hook into the order list bulk actions? If not, it might be worth asking developers if they can add that hook—it’s usually a small tweak and could solve this cleanly.
Jaxonzilla Posted Wednesday at 05:25 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:25 PM I’d check if any order‑management modules let you filter orders and trigger a mass action. If not, a small custom module using the core mail function is usually quick to build.
nickz Posted yesterday at 01:16 PM Posted yesterday at 01:16 PM How about a custom module? https://store.thirtybees.com/shop-modules All modules are listed here. https://store.thirtybees.com/support And here you order support You have a running shop and make money? Well, a module just for at a cost.
