Hi! I installed the cron module and it say that I should add this "0 * * * * curl -k "https://www.beautyandpleasure.co.uk/module/cronjobs/cron?token=97a0474891e8bfc25b3e1cc099e7f187"

to my cron task manager. I run a vps with Plesk Onyx. Where should I add this line?

I need to know this answer, also, but use cPanel and my cron tasks manager looks completely different. Where do I enter the the curl-k line it shows at the top of my cron jobs manager?

I configured a cron job without adding the curl-k line it shows at the top of my cron jobs manager.

Since long time i dont use the cron modules anymore but setup my crons at: https://www.easycron.com/ Very easy and you can setup additional features, like you get noticed when a cron fails etc. A very reliable solution!

@lesley @mdekker - If either of you has time and no one gives the answer. Thank you.

I want to use the built-in cron module from thirty bees - "Cron tasks manager".

I'm trying to create a cron job for "reindex" (good suggestion from @spidawebs)

On the cron tasks manager page it says:

To execute your cron tasks, please insert the following line in your cron tasks manager:

0 * * * * curl -k "https://www.alwayspaws.com/module/cronjobs/cron?token=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

and then on the reindex page it says:

You can set a cron job that will rebuild your index using the following URL:

https://www.alwayspaws.com/adminxxxxxxxxxx/searchcron.php?full=1&tokenxxxxxxxxxx

I want to know if I enter the two URLs provided in my admin together on one line. Or what do I enter and where, please? I included the screenshot.

I put it there but it has never run since a month ago. I did it again two days ago and it says never executed. Do I have it entered correctly?

Oh wait! cPanel/ I'll run over there and check and then delete this. thanks!

Found this php file on the PS forum and had it set up for TB before a fresh reinstall that seemed to work.

Have to give it a second try. File is available for download at PS forum link:

Auto Database Backup with "CRON" module https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/613659-auto-database-backup-with-cron-module/

Not really a module, but ... th title says all :P

"The CRON module is free and already available in PrestaShop

Final Solution for PS 1.6 (not yet tested with 1.7) :

Put this file : Attached File crondatabasebackup.php 675bytes 43 downloads

-> in your admin folder, and then in your "CRON" module config, put one link like this :

h t t p :/ / w w w . yoursite . com / youradminfolder / crondatabasebackup.php?securekey=your_key

Tip : to find your key look at the other cron tasks ;)"
