Baarssen Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 did you also put the code in your tpl files?
Baarssen Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 i did that and deleted the presto changeo add on
alwayspaws Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 No, @Baarssen but I will let @vzex explain that.
vzex Posted September 15, 2017 Author Posted September 15, 2017 Yes, my code inserted in presto is the same I've been using for years. I didn't want to have to edit any pages so I used the module

It would be higher but I had a relaxing few hours today for once. :)
Baarssen Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 i just tested it on www.rubberverf.nl, one of my sites an that works, but i prefer Intercom :) I even have setup a knowledge base, a little one
alwayspaws Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 @Baarssen More in the mix. Whatever works is what's best for you, me and them!
vzex Posted September 15, 2017 Author Posted September 15, 2017 Utoh, @Baarssen don't give us more options :)
alwayspaws Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 LOL! Right! We have enough trouble when there's only one or two choices.

On the off chance I will be opening a new can of worms, because I'm not an experienced programmer, what tpl files did you add the code to, please?
alwayspaws Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 @vzex - I don't want the public to have access to my console and server. What do I configure to change that, please?
Baarssen Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 i dont know anymore, i simply followed the instructions to install and configure it, and i put it in some tpl file just as asked in the help info. Its about a week ago i cant remember
Baarssen Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 i will check, but what i know you have several configurations, and best is to read and read

I agree that better integration for LIveZilla would be good!
Baarssen Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Access your Prestashop files via FTP or Cpanel File manager. Open there Prestashop / Themes / Your theme name folder, in our example the "default" theme is used. You can check the name of your theme in the Prestashop admin panel in Preferences / Theme. Open footer.tpl file located in this folder. Generate the LiveZilla Code as described on the left side of this page (How to get the Code). Copy the code and insert it to the footer.tpl before closing tag. Save your changes and upload your updated footer.tpl file to your FTP or Cpanel. The chat button will now appear when you reload the shop page.
