Thanks Gotabor some good tips there No database dump has taken place as far as we can see just a defacing of all sites I have on that server, its the first issue i have had with this host to date, i have asked the host for a rollback which they are being awkward about, I will lose some sales data, but can compare the rollback directory structure to the downlaoded one i have on my removable drive. This is a real pain in the backside

Morning wakabayashi The service providers are being very cagey and not giving much away, however I have noticed access to some of their services have been suspended pending security upgrades which says to me they have problems, and given the fines for data breaches I can understand that, however that doesnt help me, not even sure why this group has picked on me when in the past they have targetted companies like Air France and bigger coperates im just a little guy. I wouldnt know about modules good or bad I read up on them before installing and keep them updated I try to follow whats going on but you just can't be everywhere and be on top of everything. Im not one for hassling people hence why I put this post up if someone has the time and skill set im happy to pay for their time or just take advice and try to salvage what I can. One thing im finding quite strange is yesterday the HD on the server was full I recall having 60gig free I found a 63gig error log i deleted this so i could continue to work and this morning find a 62 gig file something is generating this huge file as it keeps coming back thats what caused the initial denial of service

As the title we had some weird stuff going on yesterday a 63gig error log filling up the SSD alerted me to it and i seemed to spend all day fixing and chasing problems only to be greated with this (SEE SCREENSHOT) at 3.15pm GMT I have a sneaky feeling the host has problems as over the last 12 hrs things seem to be shutting down there end client protal access has gone and a few other things, all my company websites are on that dedicated server and all hacked with the same front page. I just don't know where to start, im reasonably good with moving files around but wouldnt know what files should or should not be on the server Is there anyone on here that can offer me a little advice I have packed up and downloaded my entire Home directory as a start from WHM in case someone decides to delete all the graft i have put in and im downloading the databases now is there anything else I can do until I gain access to the client log in and get access to the 10's of tickets I have sent the host Paul

I tried the above and same result it resolves to Home page switched back to tools and gadgets which in all hoesty isnt a problem and it worked as it should, there is something going on with the word tools, as long as it doesnt throw any errors down the line I can live with a name change

I renamed it tools and Gadgets and it works I made another catergory Tools2 added the products and it worked so i deleted the non working Catergory thinking I could cheat the stystem and rename tools2 to just Tools and as soon as I renamed to Tools clicking the imaged resolved to the home page, renaming the Catergory to Tools & Gadgets worked. Now thats what you call a ghost in the machine

Its the Tools sub catergory bottom right that is throwing the problem i can't get my head around it I have checked and I have set it up exactly the same, when you mouse over the address its pointing to is correct but resolves to the home page

I had a customer point out to me one of the catagories is linking back to the home page and not sure how to fix it or what the actual problem is all the other catagories work flawlessly, I tried deleting the catagory and rebuilding it and associating the products to the catagory and it does the same in the screen shot you will see bottom left while mouse over it appears to be pointing to the correct address, i have done all the normal cleared cache and cleared cache on local pc and im stuck Url is https://www.thepelletguys.com/match-tackle In Degug Mode I get this when I try to edit the sub catagory

Hi Guys Im wondering if anyone is using a module that does this I have maybe 200 products with many variations I would like to be able to set different thresholds for each product and be notified when a product gets low of even better still click a button on Monday mornings that generates a list of products I either need to order in or make in our warehouse I know there is a global feature but some of my products come from China some made in house so i need to carefully set thresholds based on time to replace based on previous sales plus x percent How to people currently manage their stock is there a module for this?

what version of Prestashop is Bees based around obviously 1.6 but hit a little snag with a POS module that worked on Bees but not on 1.6.0.14 is it loosly branched around 1.6.1? Its more curiosity than anything technical Paul

there is another toggle i found from the back office go catalogue / catergory under each category there is an option to turn off display products from sub catergories, not sure if that will help.

From the product edit page go Associations on the left and uncheck the main category

Could you not set this up in combinations? Set up your attribute then add values for that attribute like 1m 1.5m 2m 2.5m or is the product sold in very random lengths? once you have set them up you can then do an increase price per value from the product combinations tab

OK I have got quite a way into this project but I'm falling over on a few issues I have limited programming skills and im very much a drag and drop guy I have looked through this forum and there are some incredibly talented guys on here and I'm wondering if someone would like to assist me I'm happy to pay for someone's time the list of issues are below, I get very stuck with hooks I just dont understand the terminology or the location names of the blocks something should be hooked too and have had some right funky reactions when i have tried editing them. Im trying to lengthen the text on the products in the same category area. Due to the type of product and the manner in which I name the product range they essentially all look the same, The range of products is NO NONSENSE followed by the flavour IE, No Nonsense Chocolate Orange so each product in the same category looks as if it is named the same now looking at the name for each product there is a series of ..... after the partial description so i would like to lengthen that slightly, currently the text is only taking up half the image I have been looking at productscategory.tpl and guessing thats the place i need to be but cannot see anything suggesting the text length can any one help me with this screenshot below showing the text I would like to lengthen

This might help one or two people I have quite a few physical stores and obviously online, Since 2015 i have been using RockPos on prestashop 1.6.0.14 it handles stock with ease I have never seen a negative stock issue where physical and online collide, it works a dream Last night i wanted to know if it worked on Bees for a new business im working on so i downloaded the latest trial version and it slipped in quite nicely no errors no problems good support from these guys too as Im a non programmer I need it 🙂

I finally got my blog working also found the solution to getting the product images to show, the only issue I have now is how does a viewer of the blog post a comment? I have comments turned on but when I view any of the posts I cannot see where a user can participate Anyone had this issue before that can lend a helping hand? Paul

I know this is an old thread but it may help someone I had this exact same problem uninstall/install uninstall / install check hooks check settings pulled all my hair out then it occurred to me adding some content might help and up it popped 🙂 for some reason the sample data was gone
