Checkout Test

Hi

I have just had a customer call about ordering a product. He said he couldn't get onto my checkout page and kept getting a error. I luckily have the log on as customer module and once I had logged in it seems he managed to as well.Now I don't know if it is a coincidence or not.. So was wondering how I could go about testing this as it works fine for me every time

I just went to your site and I am getting error 500 when going to checkout.

please check your php error log or check this attached log.

Error does only appear if you have product in cart and click on checkout.

Without any product, checkout page opens just normal with the empty shopping cart warning.

As Yaniv said, check the log he attached to see where the problem is.

I think I may know where this is coming from .. It might be Nochex Module

disable overrides and not native modules and check,

if u suspect Nochex just turn it of and chceck, so we are sure

Have you checked the exception log that Janiv attached, as that one might show better overview of what and where.

@AndyC can you please send me the nochex module in zip file to [email protected] ? I'd like to investigate what's wrong, and to see if there's anything we could do on core side to prevent this kind of issue

Sure thing .on it's way.. It has been adapted by nochex as well but obviously there is still a issue.

Sorry should also add I am on the latest versions of TB and Panda with a slightly older version of Knowbands Super checkout

Did you get the module.. Checkout has been the bane of my life ever since I changed over ,I really need this 1 to work as the paypal module doesn't work either

If Paypal module throw the same error than I guess the error caused by the supercheckout module.

Try to disable the module and revert back to standard TB checkout

Had a old customer call me up and said he was having issues going though checkout , I got him though it then he had problems paying with PayPal (the Prestashop version) but it wouldn't let him pay saying address was missing.. The TB version just sends me to a not found page .. Explains why I have had so many abandon carts...Thing is if I use them all works fine so I think nothing is wrong

So basically your original problem was not related to nochex module but was a problem with Knowbands Super checkout module?

Now that you disabled supercheckout module both your payment modules works fine?

I have now installed the TB version of PayPal but it seems to keep losing the developer credentials as it brings up an error . If I go to the developers page and chose a new set it works fine again. It doesn't happen all the time though and for the life of me and I can't remember what it said as I can't repeat the error. I'll keep checking to see if I can reproduce error

In the meantime. The other thing is PayPal also asks for the customers name and address again so basically they are having to fill it out twice, once on my site and then again on PayPal. How do you get around this 1

By using prestashop moduel 🙂 But that's mostly because it does not make unneeded external calls on every single page.

I was using 3.11.4 from the beginning but today I have switched to latest 3.14.2 which also seems that is working same as before.

mmmm ..Have reinstalled the Prestashop version and it does seem to work a lot better than with Supercheckout

Brings up the payment box over the website and auto fills in address which is a lot better. Will leave it like that for now and make a few payments over the next few days

what is the best way to delete orders as I have so many now
