Dashboard Date

Does anyone else have this issue with their dash board date.

No matter how many times I correct it always reverts back to last year as per image. I would prefer no date at all and use from the beginning

for me - every month  - stats module, month then save - dashboard show the saved month

I have a vague memory that something in this area was fixed for 1.4. I run my store on that version, and dashboard dates work fine for me. 

Just remember to select valid period, and the dates should change every day to match it.

I click this buttons since years 😅 The thing I noticed: the dashboard has issues with the first day of the month. But maybe that was fixed. I am not on bleeding edge right now...

Sigh , sorry It was me being stupid lol ... I had mine set to year -1 which makes a lot of sense now.. It now follows the correct day

There is still an annoying issue that we can't use custom date range. Well, we can temporarily set the date ranges to any custom values, but they will be overwritten on midnight to reflect selected period. Probably not a big deal, but it would be useful to have this persistent custom option as well - for example for merchants that have fiscal year not aligned with calendar year.

"There is an enhancement request that would allow merchants to decide which orders should be part of the statistics (based on invoice date or on order date), but this is not yet implemented" maybe this is interesting here too

It is as that's what I was trying to do in the beginning.. I prefer all time , ie since I started on TB and then use custom dates as needed

Yes, to fix this, we would have to add another option named Custom to range preselect:

That would allow us to permanently set custom date ranges, without them being overwritten every day on midnight.

I would appreciate this as well, as I don't like this Cinderella-like reset. But not a big priority

That would be great, if 1 day comes along..... Like you say it isn't really urgent as you can still do dates to what you need
