Just wanna say. If you don't know how to clone your shop, you shouldn't try to migrate withouth the modul. Just wait. To make to clone, is actually not really TB related. But it's also not that hard. Maybe here is somebody, which finds time to make a little movie tutorial!? Problem is always, that your provider don't have the same software. Some use cpanel, some plesk...

I dont see the problem, but maybe I don't get your problem right!? The link to the subcats in the breadcrumb are working. If you want to show this product up, you have to add it to all categories.

I haven't tested it, to be honest. But I am surprised that you like the Prestashop Menu more. If you don't like the old menu, you can install the menu from Prestashop... Should be working!

Well I do it like that: 1. I just copy my whole ps folder to another server or subfolder. 2. I create a new database and import the data 3. I change shop_url table 4. I change config datas All steps are very important. If you don't know what you are doing. you should be very careful...

Michael Dekker is working on "auto" migration. You should wait till this module is out. When it's out keep in mind, that you should always make backups before you do a migration. I always make a clone of my live shop and then proceed it (upgrate/migartion) first there and see what happens.

Which theme do you use?

We hate the default value at all with attributes. That's why we changed our theme massively. All our customers are forced to select the attribute. To build something like this in the core, would probably be helpful. One should have two options in backoffice for every attribute: - Use a default value (yes/no) - User is forced to choose this attribute (yes/no)

Can somebody explain me, if there is any difference between combination and attribute? I see these two expression a lot and never understood the difference - I thought it's the same... After reading documentation of PS I even noticed that there are hooks for combinations and hooks for attributes :S

Yeah but new software takes time to learn, have costs and probably some bug issues. I think for small to middle sized shops, it should be possible to only work with backoffice. I see a some little steps, which can help a lot. For example a "save & next" button or a bulk edit to link multiple products to a category. What is your opinion about that?

I haven't looked deeply into them. In general I am not a big fan of using additional software.

Now I focus on backoffice. We do all our work with PS respectively TB in future. We don't have any erp system or so. That means a fast system is important. Imagine you need to change every single product. It take ages to load and save... I know you improved already a lot. But I thought there is maybe a best pratice you can recommend.

No you don't. You just have to wait now. Be patient... Anyway I am here to get a better ecommerce system, not upvotes ;)

Hm I dont know why this happened. Now it's working properly. What about the speed in general? I know you are speed-god :D I would appreciate a blog later from you, where you explain to normal merchants, how they can optimize best. It doesnt hurry, but I never liked how prestashop handled this kind of things. In their blog, they talk a lot "bla bla" but no real tipps for merchants.
