  1. I don't think it is a good idea to post such a request as a forum post. This way it is some kind of extortion and reminds of childs stomping feet if they are angry. The post doesn't provide much information about what had happened and appears just as an affront against @Traumflug (The post just says "he is guilty if I am leaving ... "). This seems to be a personal thing. If there are differences it shouldn't be discussed this way. Just my 2c ...
  2. Couldn't agree more. I think it is a good idea being able to edit posts but deleted posts create questions and leave options for speculations.
  3. Here is a short list (extendable) option to show price per unit (legal requirement) show delivery time on product page (legal requirement) show price plus shipping costs (legal requirement - all additional costs must be visible) invoices have to state all taxes with tax rate.
  4. Prestashop selbst scheint das advanced eu compliance nicht mehr weiterzuentwickeln sondern nur das pslegalcompliance https://github.com/PrestaShop/pslegalcompliance Vielleicht ist das ja more advanced als das AEUC Modul?
  5. @mockob said in Anyone with live store which meets eu law requirements?: The question is concerning German online market, so I decided it is best place to ask. Sorry for writing in English, but you may answer in German if you like so. No problem. Germany is always a bit more bureaucratic than the rest of the world (be it with legislation or regarding the language and forum of posting ;-) ). I don't mind ... :-)
  6. Where can I get the AEUC module? I could only find a download link on github where the last commit is two years ago https://github.com/PrestaShop/advancedeucompliance Is this the current version?
  7. In the comments of panda theme the author first declined to make the theme tb compatible but then changed his mind. But it would be panda v1 only which would be compatible with tb because v2 is for PS1.7 only
  8. @vincentdenkspel said in Transformer Theme = How Compatible?: @occam Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by 'nice try' . Please explain In your imagination replace the bat icon with an avatar of crumpy cat and then reread the post from another perspective ;)
  9. @occam said in Transformer Theme = How Compatible?: But ... "a few translations"? You must be kidding! This theme like Panda brings along lots of own modules ( see my post above). This is a critical issue for people with no or poor skills in English, particularly due to the fact that source sometimes proves ... moderate. If buying on themeforest at least basic English is a requirement. If somebody has only poor English skills an option could be to hire a student to translate the most important parts. English is a required subject at school today. Where there is a will, there is a way :-).
  10. @occam said in Transformer Theme = How Compatible?: Yes, we have both probably experienced at Crowdin that the developers of the Transformer theme seem to be indifferent to what the translators suggest. At the beginning there was at least some feedback, but not lately. And I suppose with the other themes (e. g. Panda) it is the same. As a consequence, this means that all users with little knowledge of English or all those who need a different shop language than English should avoid Sunnytoo's themes, regardless of whether they are thirty bees compatible or not. The developers seem to concentrate 100% on the English-speaking market. Might be understandable from an economic point of view, but Europeans should probably look for other themes. If buying on themeforest most themes come with English language files only. I would always look for code quality first. Dealing with technical problems is way more time consuming than translating a few strings. Don't know about transformer theme but panda theme is easy to handle regarding translations.
  11. @vzex said in Flying shopping cart: Yes, absolutely. A comparison chart would have been helpful in deciding which to choose. If there is one, I missed it! :) By now there are not much differences. When asked on facebook johnny replied "Hi, the design of them are different, at this time they are very similar functionally. They will have their unique features in future." But when looking at the demo sites I think the designs are not too different either .. :D

    Panda Theme

Actually I don't think that a version for thirtybees will come anytime soon. The seller seems to encourage buyers to use PS17 since PS16 will be phased out next year. My guess is that he will wait to see if there will be a greater demand for thirtybees to determine if it will be worth the effort.
  13. You may add me to the fans of panda theme :-). Panda theme has a flying cart feature implemented in the cart module
  14. @euria have you tried to contact the theme author? Maybe he is interested in upgrading the theme and just needs a little push by seeing some interest ? ;)
  15. The last update of the theme on themeforest was in August 2014. This was three years ago. So it is most likely just a question of time until problems may arise.
  16. @labeller said in Transformer Theme = How Compatible?: @lesley Thank you for your prompt reply. Firstly can you confirm that purchased PS Modules are compatible with 30bees? We use Advanced CMS Form Maker Gallerique SEO Redirects etc. Why don't you just make a demo install and try it out? How can somebody confirm this (especially "etc")? It is very unlikely that somebody has tested your specific module combination.
  17. Could be the browser cache. Btw firebug is not supported anymore: http://getfirebug.com/ Firebug is now included in the firefox dev tools.
  18. @alwayspaws usually you will find the the tag in the file header.tpl. If you put javascript in a tpl file you will have to wrap it in {literal}here comes your script {/literal} you will find the closing tag in footer.tpl. Here you can insert the footer script. Then the code will be loaded on every page.
  19. Maybe this article can help you. It is for prestashop but shouldn't be too different from 30bz https://belvg.com/blog/how-to-create-custom-image-slider-in-prestashop-1-6-product-page.html
  20. @spidawebs You could allow numbers in the name field by altering classes/Validate.php If you look for this part ``` /** * Check for name validity * * @param string $name Name to validate * * @return bool Validity is ok or not * * @since 1.0.0 * @version 1.0.0 Initial version */ public static function isName($name) { return (bool) pregmatch(Tools::cleanNonUnicodeSupport('/^[^0-9!<>,;?=+()@#"°{}$%:]*$/u'), stripslashes($name)); } ``` just remove 0-9 from the characters that are not allowed so that the line inside the function reads ``` return (bool) pregmatch(Tools::cleanNonUnicodeSupport('/^[^!<>,;?=+()@#"°{}$%:]*$/u'), stripslashes($name));
  21. This has been an issue in the prestashop forums many times and several solutions have been posted to change the default order letters to order numbers. It would be great if thirtybees could incorporate this in the core files https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/518497-change-the-order-reference-to-number-reference/ I have never understood why the prestashop order reference is in letters. This is so unhandy and unusual, isn't it?
  22. I too tried with a fresh thirtybees installation - no other blog module involved - and received the same errors as described above: The following module(s) could not be installed properly: beesblog Even if I enable debug mode I do not receive any more detailed error message. beesblog remains in an half-installed status. It is not installed but if I try to install it again I am getting the error message that the module is already installed but it won't show up in admin menu.
  23. @Traumflug said in Basic / Unit price with combinations problem: Looks like the JavaScript/Ajax callback ignores this AEUC snippet. Could this be the reason for the other EU Compliance problems too? And is there a way to make AEUC and Ajax callback become aware of each other?
