  1. Just so you know, what envato is going to say is you can go F your self, they dont do refunds But then again how can envato prove that he was in contact with any one that he should not be ? and did he even know thos he talked to where sanctioned, it's a double edged sword. If in case they contactet him via Envato's site there restrictions and geo block is messed up, and then he can't be blamed, but i wonder how they know this info.
  2. @wakabayashi thanks to @mdekker it works perfect :D - and is a good way to keep track on a more simplistic level.
  3. Back in May when we bought 4 webshops, only 3 active currently, we started out using Prestashop, the first step to optimize our workflow, since there where 3 webshops, was to scan all EAN’s in to Prestashop, and then with the help of a integration partner, integrate directly against e-conomic.dk/revise.com Bookkeeping/ERP system. It was a process that took about 2 months of our time, a lot blood sweat and tears to be honest, frustration over missing Prestashop features, finding modules that we could use to fix some of the issues, even just getting the integration with our Bookkeeping/ERP working was a pain. When we finally managed to get everything up and running, we decided to take 2 months, where we focused on usage of social media, and google adwords, to optimize our income, we started optimizing product texts, and finding freelance product text writers, just to uphold a good quality on our product texts. All this work started sparking ideas on how we could optimize and customize prestashop in to something we could use more efficient, and when we started looking more in to this part we found a forum post about ThirtyBees, I started digging in to this, and did some initial tests, and found out speed wize TB was faster, and it all felt more optimized just from within the backoffice. I started creating minor bug reports on github, added new ideas on how to optimize the TB platform, and we decided when the time is right we are going to migrate all shops to TB, right now it’s only a module that’s not working in TB holding us back, our b2b store is built on TB. Started talking with Michael and Lesly about some ideas, and bit down the road we actually hired Lesly to do some custom modules that would optimize our workflow. The first module is to help us avoid issues with our ERP, it requires that we use unique reference id’s even for combination products, so Fabio and him developed a module, that help us keep track of duplicate id’s and if a ref id we use is always in use in the system. Besides that with the usage of ERP all our stock management is done external, and then synced to the shop in real time, the issue here is when you got backorders, you can’t track if you got the products in stock, without having to click and manual review every order. For this they developed a module that shows a red X or green V depending on if we can deliver or not, this optimized our workflow a lot since we now are able to handle backorders 100% faster, since we don’t have to click in to them all to figure out if we can deliver the order. A couple of weeks back I talked with Michael about an idea we had, we wanted to be able to see the last 5 orders of a product when we clicked in to a product in backoffice, since the stats, is not the best place to find all this information. A week ago we then asked hired Michael to do a module that would show the last 5 orders under each product, and actually show a total number to, so we knew how many of that item we have sold in total, without having to use stats module. So why am I telling you about this? Because we decided together with Lesly and Michael that these modules will be released for public usage, since we believe others might have the same needs as us, and others might not even have thought about this, but actually might be able to use this anyways. Some might think why? Because we want to give back to the community, we just do it in our own ways, and fund small modules that we need, and instead of just keeping them to our self we decided to share it with the community, because we think making them public accessible, might give us some new ideas how to extend the modules, or give other a chance to add functionality to the module that we might be able to use, and have never thought about. To finish up the post I have added a couple of screenshots of the backorder module, and the last 5 orders module, the other module is a bit harder to showcase with a screenshot, some information is blurred out.
  4. have you tryed to do shop.com/index.php?controller=product&id_product=50 But why would you call the product via the id ? insted of using "Pretty URL's" ?
  5. Hmm i am not sure but this might be a permission based error. But it can actually be a bug in 7.1 to https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=69489 - i am not 100% sure whats going on here. TB runs on basic settings more or less, so no reason for a php.ini
  6. @traumflug you are right but, if it's setup correct wth a lower cpu usage, it's not something you are going to feel when it comes to the electricity bill, but ye it's not efficient, but a little is better then nothing, in my company all works stations is actually based on Intel NUC, besides my computer, they have a very low power usage even with a high amount of cpu load.
  7. Hi Lesley ye something like rafflecopter, just as an advent calendar insted, so you get the option to do something nice to your customers, but still get something back in form of emails and maybe social shares.
  8. I actually think this is a good idea, we need a module that dos 2 things fro christmas, one that offers a solution to have giveaways where ppl need to sign up for the newsletter each day. And then a solution with discounts for each days, and ye i searched for something like that to.
  9. Most machines should be fine if you dont put it to high, and make sure to keep it under the max cores in the least powerfull machine you got, ex laptops with to cores if they are used keep it ad 1, so it dossent use to mutch.
  10. Remember it's just a pice of JavaScript that runs in the browser.
  11. You can only see chromes cpu usage, and from that try and calculate what it uses :)
  12. There might be a small issue there is adleest 1 confimed Antivirus that flags Coin-Hive - ESET, and Malwarebytes may flag it to currently.
  13. @briljander said in You are mining Monero crypto-currency when using thirtybees.com website: I'm not sure about this. Even though I understand why you need the money it can't be that much earned for my time in the site. I'd rather donate the equal amount or pay for some kind of premium. Or at least let me choose to participate or not. What's the downside ? You loan 10% af one of your CPU cores, even if it's a small amount it generates small is better then nothing, it dossent harm your computer, it dos not rly take up a lot of performance, but it helps TB to evolve more or less. Even tho our shops are still not running TB, we got the Donation Miner running to support the cause, since we thing TB is going to be the future, and want to help them the ways we can.
  14. I think it's a good idea, it's a perfect way to support TB with out doing any thing, and if configured right the 10-15% cpu usage you give when you are on TB is for a good cause, all this crap in the news that it's malware and so on, how can this be malware i dont get it. I think it's a cleaver and good way if this is done right and by responsible persons. Personally i would use it on some of our sites, that's not shop related, since we could cut down abit on ad's insted.
  15. TBtester it is actually debugging solution to figure out if FastCGI is misconfigured. He is not saying you should stay on that configuration he is asking you to try it out, to se if that gives any other error code, or that it works, because they you can start back tracing the issue, and fixing the issues with FastCGI. And i got to call bs... when you say it's not a real suggestion, because it is a real suggestion, and calling it the prestashop mentality, and kind of saying these guys that works there asses of to give us a better shopping solution arrogant that’s just way out of line. Do you know how many different setups there are? Apache alone got 3-4 ways to connect with PHP, then you got NGINX, Litespeed, lighttpd, and a lot more. It's impossible to test every single setup solution, every server got different kinks especially if they are not using something common like plesk, or cpanel... That’s why they asked you to try that solution, to figure out if it is a FastCGI issue, because the error output is vague, and could suggest a FastCGI issue Personally I have tried out TB on a bunch of platforms, pure Nginx setup that I prefer and use as my daily driver for all my stuff, cpanel setups, plesk, tried it out on a local apache setup to and I have not had the issues you are currently having. @mdekker Ye you are right with out doubt! it feels more like it's just a reason to rage on you.
  16. @hubbobubbo i think it should be fixed by now, i can see that @mdekker said they made a check in 1.0.2 to sort it out. But again im not sure why your host used the PECL version and why it seams to be gloabally installed since it hits you.
  17. @hubbobubbo Did your issue get fixed or?
  18. Hmm have any one with the issue tryed to parse out the geoipcountrycodebyname() function? Go to the vendor/thirtybees/geoip/src - Download or Open the file geoip.inc find the line function geoipcountrycodebyname($gi, $name) //function geoipcountrycodebyname($gi, $name) //{ // $countryid = geoipcountryidbyname($gi, $name); // if ($countryid !== false) { // return $gi->GEOIPCOUNTRYCODES[$country_id]; // } // return false; //} More or less try and parse the function out, and see if that makes a difference, it might then say there is a issue with geoipcountrynamebyname Parse that out to if so and se what happens, if this works then im quite sure it's the PECL module screwing something up.
  19. This issue could very very well that your webhost made a choise with there setup, if the PECL version of GEOIP is installed to there could be issues with that actually.
  20. We got you back on track :D so now it's working so thats perfect!
  21. That is something i dont know never used the build in import function, maybe @mdekker or @lesley knows this.
  22. Try and edit one of your cobination ex the aqua. Then you got a section when editing where all the images is, here you set a check mark on each product that fits for the Aqua and then save. Then the image should be mapped.
  23. First of all im not 100% sure the right color will show in the basket, but when to your site and when i select a different color on that product, it dos not change the image ad all. Under the product >> combination, if you edit one of the products, did you select the images that should be linked with the product there ?
  24. Okay down in the right corner you got a green button that says get code, that will give you the code you need.
