30knees
Adding orders from the backend works for some customers but for others not. I can't figure out why it works only for some. I get two types of error messages: "An order has already been placed with this cart. This product cannot be added to the cart." This is regardless of the product. "No carrier can be applied to this order" Each error message is specific to certain customers. Has anybody had these, too?
0 lesley
Do you use anything to delete carts? Does disabling overrides do anything to help fix the issue?
0 dosbiner
@30knees oh same with me, I thought just me. yes just some customers not all customers. still cannot find where the problem is
0 lesley
Is this a 1.0.7 problem? Or is it something that has been happening in other versions too?
0 30knees
It's been happening in previous versions, too. I'm not deleting any carts except manually abandoned and non-ordered ones. However, I know that I've never deleted any such carts for many of the customers where it doesn't work. Disabling overrides does not help.
0 wakabayashi
@30knees said in Error messages when adding orders from the backend: "An order has already been placed with this cart. This product cannot be added to the cart." We get this one too! No idea when it happens and why :(

0 wakabayashi
Normally it works for us, if I redo the order.
0 30knees
Unfortunately not for me. I try and try and I always get the same error message. It's so frustrating.
0 datakick
This is obviously data related. I'd love to investigate, but it's not possible unless I can reproduce this bug. Therefore, I would need access to your backoffice + info for which can this bug be reproduced. Then we could figure out what's wrong.

0 30knees
Yep, works for me, too! :-) Unfortunately, it didn't fix the "carrier" issue, too. That would have been two birds with one stone. :)
Question
30knees
Adding orders from the backend works for some customers but for others not. I can't figure out why it works only for some.
I get two types of error messages:
"An order has already been placed with this cart. This product cannot be added to the cart." This is regardless of the product.
"No carrier can be applied to this order"
Each error message is specific to certain customers.
Has anybody had these, too?
