Cannot sent E-Mails

My System does not send E-Mails anymore.

I am using bleeding edge version d1b24a9ca65e81fe5f425d50dfc0692331a3e12d

It worked until February 2023.

Do you have some email transport module installed?

EDIT - you can use one of these two mail modules

• Mail via swiftmailer
• Mail via PHPmailer

I guess I have both. And the systems says that it has sent. But I will not receive any email.

The strato-setup is unchanged and worked before. And I can sent and receive E-Mails with strato-Server-Setup from within thunderbird ... So, it does not look like a strato problem

You need to install one of the mentioned mail modules.

Than you should configure that module and also choose it for "email transport" in Advanced Parameters / E-mail section.

This helped. Thank you very much. This is a change. I have now three Option (none swiht PHPmailer). And the default was at "none".

As already mentioned - install PHPMailer and configure it then go to Email Settings in your BO and there is one new dropdown where you select email transport method - choose the already installed and configured module. Save and test. You will receive the test email now.

You need only 1 of the modules, not all of them. Uninstall and delete the unneeded module. PHPmailer module is the better option as of now.

This function was extracted from core because the library was outdated and this way a merchant has more flexibility if they need/want to use another transport

Has anyone got a link to PHPmailer?

I tried uploading the one on https://github.com/thirtybees/tbphpmailer but nothing happens next: I can't find a module to install on the modules list. So I suppose I am using the wrong version. Any ideas welcome!

You need to update to more recent bleeding edge first.

Than it will be also visible in modules list for direct install.

Odd result which is where I started a while ago.
PHPmailer gets no result, even if I try instructions like https://classydevs.com/prestashop-smtp-settings

The other module takes me back to messages arriving but with format problems like this plain text test email below. It is full of format problems.

I am off to bed in a bit but am very keen to hear from anyone who knows what I have messed-up!
