  1. Not yesterday, but this morning I entered on MailChimp again and it seems it is syncing now. Maybe it takes some time until it is visible
  2. Agree. Not in doing free modules (it is already a complete solution) but to focus on attracting people. TB is toooo young, it is normal not to have income. My project has generated almost 0 in 2 years (only crowdfunding and I did not even get the money yet) and I will not generate enough AT LEAST until October. That is completely normal (and we are more than 6 people full time). Communication is another key. When I met TB communication was much better, that attract my attention and I migrated this week because I had that image. To be honest, If I would have known TB just this week, I never would have migrated. Do you need developers? ask the community for help. I am sure some people could help. Answer daily and show you very active also on twitter. SHow people you are very alive. Do not say ONLY we have corrected 2000 bugs. Specify the most irritating PS bugs that you have corrected. Do you need money? some people we gave you some ideas to get some (marketplace is not only to earn money but to show developers that they can earn money here too) but If you need more: look for investors. If the community is active and the project seems growing you can attract them.
  3. Yes, I can add an specific price only for US, but the goal is to simplify the control and making all stores the same price every time I change something, (but US showing without taxes). I will do it just setting a new price s you said, or doing discounts without taxes but my goal is also to highlight the bug :) I understand your question about discounts in all products. The reason is that we are in pre-launch so products have discounts before launching. All this have to be exaplined whith banners and all the staff but store was launch like a "emergency" solution after kickstarter was finished and people could not pre-order anymore. There si a looooooot of work to be done in this area :)
  4. I have tried TB mailchimp and at least the products are not sync...
  5. It was de advanced eu compilance :) Thanks!
  6. Hi, Can someone tell me what is the difference between TB free MailChimp module and the official one (also free)? Thanks
  7. Hi, I am sure it is very easy but I just do not find where to hide the weight product in the product page... Thanks
  8. There is a problem with using specific prices including TAX. My products prices are TAX included An example: I have a product: price: 100$ Price with TAX (21%): 121$ I apply a discount INCLUDING tax of 21$. Now price WITH TAX should be 100$. That works fine. BUT now I have opened a US Shop using multistore. This shop will show prices NOT including tax because it is an export. Now this 21$ discount should not discount 21$ because the showed price NOT include tax but only 17,35$ (the 79% of 21$). But the specific price is any way discounting 21$ so I would lose money. I know this could be difficult to understand but the resume is: Specific price (discount) including TAX will deduct the same amount if prices are including or not taxes so discount makes lose money when my products are tax free. The solution is always to create specific prices without taxes but that brings the problem that sometimes due to wrong ronds, final prices are ugly (100,02 for example) Any idea how to correct this?
  9. Hi @hfxracing, Indeed I am not very new here, I just did not have time to be participative because my startup takes literally, all my time (I am not IT neither, just a scientist with some skills for computers so I could not be very helpful in coding). I know they are IT guys, that is why I am writing this text. Maybe they have to do a partnership with a marketing person. I realized now that my message could be out of context and it could seems the new guy that only comes to criticize. I wrote it because I am seeing the same as other users do, that TB is losing fuel since some months (like @Janvier that just said minutes ago: "This is a bit of a leap of faith for some of us, but we believe in this project"). I am seeing that a bad marketing and a lack of income could kill a project with a lot of potential. Guys, just continue developing the project (regularly updates) to show it is alive, create the marketplace to create income and improve marketing. Income will come if you do things right because the product is good. I and the rest of my business partners are working on a project for 2 years. No 1$ income until now (a lot of awards but no real money), but that is an investment, We will earn (I hope) money when the product will be on the market. I would add to my first message another income source: subscription. If you would create something like "all modules and updates you will need by X/month: your shop always updated and with all the modules you will need" (If you do not pay, the modules can not update it anymore). That could also works. Envato elements do that and I am happy paying because If I need some photo or resource I will have a vast catalog. It is not the same that paying for a free service as I explained before. I am paying to be sure I will have what I will need. (Why people pay to have Netflix? not really because it is more economical but because they know they will always have something to watch). EDIT: I think TB has already enough modules. My advice is not to bring more free modules, any commercial solution have to keep the balance. Too less, bad, too much, bad. Maybe you could create free modules to improve a very weak area (like creating CMS, that are the major weakness in Prestashop too), but not create a full complete free solution ;). Again, only pieces of advice, not absolute truths
  10. Thanks :) It has to improve a lot yet and e-commerce section it is just in "pre-alfa" (mounted today in 1 hour) but It is starting to look good.
  11. Hi, I just wanted to write something that I always thought. I will be really hard, but take it as advice because it comes from someone that sees the potential and the effort you put into this (I actually migrate yesterday to TB). I could do it more polite and soft but it would take too much time and it would be less effective. Also, sometimes I will talk in the first person to show what someone would think (but it will not be my opinion).Once said that I start: @lesley @mdekker I would improve A LOT the marketing. Most of us (at least my impression) we are here because we have an "engineer" or more technical vision (robust, reliable...) and we meet the project in the Prestashop forum when we had problems in our CMS but that is not enough to have a great project. In the end, success of a project is ALL about marketing, and that is the problem here (IMHO). For example, I never liked the home, at all. The first part basically says nothing and it is unattractive (at least for non-developers). It is the classic marketing example of misunderstanding feature vs benefit. You should sell benefits: sell more, sell easy, earn more money, make google likes you,... The home is pretty bad, to be honest. The actual one is a LITTLE bit better, but when you enter you do not know what does TB sell: e-commerce made easy. What does it mean? you could perfectly be a marketing agency too. Even if I do not like to much their home, they know what it matters: First thing: "SELL with....." Ok, I want that, I want to sell. I am in the right place. Second: An authority argument: "trusted by XXXXXXXXXXXX BUSINESS WORLDWIDE". Ok now, I am sure it is a good solution to SELL. Maybe you do not have 6000000000 (i lost zeros account) but you said in another topic that you have more than 10,000 shops. Not to bad neither. 10,000 people are not a few. 3th: the show an e-commerce in computer and mobile: every shop owner wants that and it is visual. And it looks good because it is beautiful and well designed. If you own a shop, you want that. 4th: just 3 features (not 20 like TB): not expensive, beautiful, and the authority argument. 5th: more authority showing important journals that EVERYONE knows (not only techs) and an important personal statement. NO MORE Even if I do not like too much the style, they know what they are doing. If I compare with yours: small "not very clean", vertical foto of a small, not very modern shop (with that business you will not be rich for sure), with a sentence that says not too much, with a link to a download page...I can imagine a client ""already a link even before I know what you are about? If I click, a technical page? No way" "thirty bees is open source e-commerce with cutting-edge features. Features that allow merchants to quickly set up their shops and start selling online. thirty bees have been designed with over 500 features, which allows it to scale as your business grows. Join the thousands of successful merchants around the world that trust thirty bees with their businesses. Free Open Source E-commerce"" Bla bla bla...Too long and this like: 500 features... I do not need so much. Most people neither. It seems even complicate. Cutting edge... I just want to sell and have a beautiful shop that appears in google. The rest is text and more text. And a lot of features... It seems too complicate and I do not have time to read so much (I will only read it If I am already interested) THERE IS NOT ONE SCREENSHOT OF A BEAUTIFUL TB STORE. No comments from a marketing point of view. Look at our "friends" "your e-commerce success starts here" "start your free online store" "button call to action: sell online" I want that!! who doesn't? Down, you can see shop examples (not HIDE in a button like in TB but actually visible). You see my point? Another topic: I also see that this project is not bringing to much income. I definitely think the easiest way to get money is the marketplace. Patreon? Not good. Why? because people will not pay a subscription If they do not have to because it is free. At least not those that have a tight economy, as me. I contributed to the elastic search because it is once. Patreon, It stresses me to pay every month while I do not have income (that will change soon, but until now my project was a pure investment). A lot of merchants that creates an e-commerce are in that situation (just starting) and it is easy to pay once for a specific module that to pay a subscription that offers "nothing" but to show gratitude. I hope it helps. Maybe you will think I am an assh**e but If you can improve, I will be happy :) Regards PS: I do not know if that is legal but if you are trying to attract Prestashop users, why not to say that you correct most of Prestashop bugs? At least in a landing page for users coming from forums and places where they know you because of Prestashop problems. PS2: I will be a patreon when I will start generating income ;)
  12. Hi, TB has only one inconvenient in my opinion (derivate from PrestaShop) for non-pure e-commerce webs. It is not very visually appealing to users, something really important in non-only e-commerce webs. We are now using visual composer but there is lack of features and in addition, it is very heavy (load) (only the youtube module, the only way to put a video is more than 1,2 mb) When I see some WordPress/Shopify templates I miss this so visual interface in our e-commerce platforms so I was thinking about using Wordpress and connect the shop section with TB. Do you think it is a good idea? Any other recommendation? Our project has to be appealing and the web is also a way to communicate all our project (we are an innovative startup). Thanks!
  13. Well after some time disappeared because of an important lack of time, we already migrate to TB :)
  14. Hi Random, welcome to the forum. That is the exactly reason why a lot of us are here :) This guys know what they are doing and they listen the community. In the time I have been here you can see how they solve every doubt and solve every little bug that appear very very fast (the opposite of prestashop last years) So my answer is: if you liked prestashop before, in my opinion TB is the future
  16. Agree with some things said here, but not with all. If your market is local, definitely you do not need a CDN. Said that I started to use the CDN service in a moment that my parents web was using more traffic than we had paid so I had to increase my monthly fee or use a CDN to take traffic load from it. I preferred the last option so I could also try the cdn service. I did some test and in far countries (as US), load time decreased considerably: 2 ,5 seconds I think to remember (to be honest I did not expect so much). That was enough to stay in the service at least by now. CDN only have sens if you want an international approach. There is a free trial so it is so easy to test (in less than 15 min can be set up) that I would recommend anyone to give a try if their customers are abroad.
  17. Hi, not using Tb yet, but stackpath works fine in my PS installation so It should work too :) No problem here with single domain SSL certificate and their support is amazing and fast. Settings in prestashop it is just fill 1 field.
  18. Hi @Euria , welcome to the forum. My web has not a lot of functionality, but home is "one page web style" (the main content is in home). Of course, more content require more load time, but this can be solved using lazy load. My theme, (panda) for example has this feature in most of modules, it is not something new or extraordinary. I am not saying this is a bug or similar, it is just not included (in my opinion a content module should use it almos as mandatory feature, but this is personal opinion). About Smartdatasoft technical support, you have been extraordinary lucky, really lucky, because they are by far the worst I ever known (and I have invested more than 3000€ just in modules). And I am not the only one who think they have no word. You can see this topic: https://forum.thirtybees.com/topic/490/visual-composer-error I posted there some of the bugs I found. None is solved as you can see. That is the best proof of how they work.

    Panda Theme

My reason to use panda is just customization. I do not mind loosing a little bit of performance if shop is easy customizable
  20. rubben1985

    Panda Theme

Yes, he seems committed to support TB :) Good news as for me, he has the best templates and even most important, the best technical support I ever seen.
  21. @alwayspaws said in Migration module wants to install 1.0.1: @Traumflug :) Thanks for clarifying this. @rubben1985 - I hope you see what @Traumflug just said. :) I saw it now ;) Thanks
  22. Agree with @yaniv14 . I do not have time right now (i would really like but day has only 24h) to correct bugs even if there are corrections available. That is the reason I ask for 1.0.3 in the other topic (https://forum.thirtybees.com/topic/555/1-0-2-has-been-released/5). I think minor versions should be very frequents (at least now that TB is borning). Not talking about improvement, just bug correcting (for that I like your values of non pressure :) )
  23. perfect, could you please move this to job offer section? I suppose I can not by myself :)
  24. Hi @lesley I have not because I do not have a good relation with him (he is not professional, he doesn't provide real support even after if I have a paid for it. Neither he corrects his own bugs as you can see in this topic: https://forum.thirtybees.com/topic/490/visual-composer-error) It is because of that that I asked here in the forum. If someone could implement it I could pay custom development if it is not too much work
  25. Hi, Does anyone knows if it is possible to make Visual composer and its addon (ultimate ) lazy load? I was reading blog post about lighthouse and my web has a poor performace thanks to VC not being lazy load. My home has to be big because it is a product concept explanation (not an ecommerce yet) so most of main content is all in home . Thanks!
