  1. I did change the code but the config.xml file in my theme is a small c. Either way, capital or no capital, it does not work. I have to go back to TB 1.0.5 to install the theme then reinstall 1.0.6 over it.
  2. @doclucas https://pastebin.com/S6YR9C3Z
  3. [01535339718534AdminThemesController.php](Uploading 100%) I have uploaded it, as apparently posting it is too big.
  4. It does not work for me... :( Themes used to upload fine up to TB 1.0.5 - in 1.0.6, nothing loads. I get bad configuration errors no matter what. :(
  5. I have used this module with lots of success in cases of multiple overrides on the same function: https://addons.prestashop.com/en/administrative-tools/20250-multi-override.html It is actually pretty clever. It creates an override file where it contains a chain of override needed for a same function, as if it was only one override (not sure it all makes sense but that is the jist as I understand it). It does not always work the first time, sometimes you need to install modules in a certain order, but overall, it solved most of my overrides problems.
  6. @traumflug I tried it on my shop. It broke most of the major modules we use. Curiously, it also broke the layout of the backend. Words or icons disappeared but their functionality was still there. It did not seem to affect my theme per se but it did break several modules, apparently some from thirty bees as well (Best sellers just disappeared). I think for a shop that uses limited functionalities, it can work.
  7. I noticed the pile up of php errors... I do not think that prestashop compatibility has to go all the way to 1.0.4 - I think 1.6 is a good start for now. Unfortunately, I still have to use a lot of third party Prestashop module to keep things running the way I need my shop to run. Until there is a wider offer of modules and/or the addition of missing functionalities in the core, we are kind of stuck between two worlds. So I vote for strategy one for now. I understand the need to move forward and leave some technology behind but until all the bases are covered, I think we need to take it slow. Another year is not a bad thing to see how things evolve.
  8. I do not have as many categories as you do but I do have over 30K products. We have a similar setup server wise. TB has been a major improvement speed wise for me, both backend and front end wise. There is also ways to improve backend speed via htaccess. I used to have the problem you describe with PS. Another thing to help yourself is switch from standard mysql to MariaDB, that was a 10% speed gain on both ends for me. Make sure you use Barracuda as file system and that all your tables are InnoDB. That helps a lot too - some modules use MySlAm - you need to convert them to InnoDB.
  9. I get the following error in Configuration tab of the TB OPC cache manager module: Notice: Undefined index: opcache.filecache in /home/zbookstore/publichtml/modules/opcachemanager/opcache/src/OpCacheGUI/OpCache/Configuration.php on line 94 Notice: Undefined index: opcache.filecacheconsistencychecks in /home/zbookstore/publichtml/modules/opcachemanager/opcache/src/OpCacheGUI/OpCache/Configuration.php on line 95 Even on a fresh install of 1.0.5. Everything was fine under 1.0.4. I know they are not major errors but it is un-sigthly and usually a sign things are not as they should be... Any help is appreciated.
  10. @chandra You need to go remove the actual file left behind by the orginal recaptcha in the override folder - uninstalling the module apparently does not remove it. Everything should work after that. Just install the new module. The file is located in /overrides/controllers/front/ and it is called ContactController. I have to go and say it: I HATE OVERRIDES. The gestion of it is way too complex. I think that the TB modules have permissions that prevent us from deleting them, accidentally or otherwise. But it is not necessary to wipe it out of existence, just delete the override file.
  11. @traumflug I am usually able to find them but sometimes the name used are so weird, it is hard to identify what it is for. I am trying to change buttons colours on a module and I am struggling to make sense of where the colour information is. I managed to change other things but I cannot find the buttons to save my life... :(
  12. I have found this free module for now. I can confirm that it works in TB 1.0.5 on the contact page. I prefer the TB version because you can use it in more places, but at least to stem the flow of spam, this one works until the normal CAPTCHA can get fixed: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/719012-free-module-contact-form-anti-spam-recaptcha-and-blacklist-ps-151617/
  13. @vinum Hi! I am interested in this module but does it work with external modules as well? I pretty much figured out how to fix the css to my liking on my theme but my main issue is third party modules. I managed some changes, but not all. Some of them, it is pretty darn impossible to figure out where is what. I tried your module and it does a good job of indicating what are the concerned files. I am just curious, because it is a hefty price tag, if it works properly beyond the theme and the natural modules. Thanks!
  14. I have the same issue since upgrading to 1.0.5: Recaptcha does not work (unknown) even though the same credentials used to work fine in 1.0.4. Reset, uninstall then fresh reinstall, nothing works.
  15. I do not use it, but the referral program module would be a good one too!
  16. @datakick I also installed the modifications to the wishlist module. Works like a charm! Thank you so much!!!
  17. Excellent release. Very stable. Easiest update yet for me - was not all easy but way simpler than before. Two thumbs up!
  18. If we use the free module, will the paid version will merge itself seamlessly or is it a separate install?
  19. @datakick Thank you so much! I am getting a 502 error when I try to access your Price alert module however. I don't use it personally, but I was thinking that the referral program module could be a good integration too. The Price alert is a great idea. I understand that TB might not want to manage integration with community modules. It is additional work and support. UPDATE: @datakick I finally managed to get my hands on the Price alert module. Awesome module BTW. I have version 1.0.11, however I cannot find it in the actions of Krona. Do I have the right version?
  20. @vincentdenkspel Sure. The basic structure is already within the module. People are competitive by nature. If you create a game within the store, one that is driven by reaching levels by either accumulating points for certain actions, or by actually doing actions (like 50 reviews gets you to the next level), and if you use levels as clues to leverage an overall mystery for example, in order to give people a narrative that they want to conclude, you can offer various rewards along the way. Using products themselves as part of the clues delivering devices, with a combination of CMS pages and, why not, videos. I am trying to see if we could trigger easter eggs by visiting certain pages. You give lots of smaller prizes along the way but one big one for the first person to successfully go through the gauntlet, say a $1000 voucher. If you make the game challenging enough and interesting enough, what at least some people will do in order to beat it will be sufficient to justify the loss since you will have filled your store with user generated content. @datakick revws and the birthday modules are good complements to what was already there. By leveraging more user modules to generate points to reward actions, I think we can build something that is more than just merely shopping and actually build a community around the shopping experience and the site that hosts it.
  21. @datakick Wow! Sure! I will do that. The first one I can think of is the wishlist module (Front office Features Wishlist block v2.0.0 - by thirty bees). People could get a point whenever they add an item to their wish list. Another one could be Send to a Friend Module v2.0.1 - by thirty bees, where people get a point whenever they use the function. I will get back to you with more.
  22. @datakick I understand. It is really too bad. The potential for this module to help build a truly engaged community is tremendous. The gamification aspect alone for me is ripe with amazing opportunities. If there was an easy way to hook at least the basic customer centric modules that come with TB, that would have been very helpful. I am also investigating the possibility of having Easter Eggs when people perform a certain number of actions and tasks, either in a certain order or in a certain pattern, which could net them a free item or an additional discount and so on. Hopefully, things will grow a bit more and reach a level when we can really make shopping online part of an interactive experience instead of just a passive flip through pages.
