  1. One of the issues in the UK is not necessarily the counties, but postcodes. Most couriers have different delivery charges based on different postcodes. Probably not much of an issue for large value orders, but for small orders it is. A simple next day delivery for differnet postcodes can vary by as much as three times. So we need zones by postcode. Luckliy we have a module that I can now report works fine in 30bees Shipping Costs Based On Zipcodes Pro v3.0.0 - by ProQuality

    M4PDF module

Solved. Seems this was a PHP issue. The module is only PHP7.0 compliant at the moment. But other than that it is now fully operational
  3. We use them, and I have nothing but praise. great module, very flexible, great support when needed. Yes there is a "pop up" for the final payment, but that is fine by me. They have even done quite a few little mods for me. I suppose the old addage is true, > "“You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”.”"
  4. @wakabayashi Yep, the dev is already in the thread.
  5. @wakabayashi No, the purchased one. We created a subdomain and installed 30bees fresh Used the migrate module to transfer all data into 30bees. played with 30bees to get everything working Used ftp to move the 30bees files back across to the main domain changed the URL's in the 30bees database to reflect tehe new domain The migrate module is supposed to maintain employee and customer passwords. But someting has gone wrong. and we could not login after the move. With our without the module enabled I am having to manually change passwords in the back office. We are live now, o not much we can do about it. I will just have to deal with the customer complaints if they can't log in
  6. Oh no Problems for everyone. Staff cannot log in. If I switch the cookie keys back they can log in, but that makes other things not work. So after logging in, I put the keys back to the 30bees keys and they can still log in, and stuff seems to work Soooo I am now nervous about returning customers What should i do? Keep the module installed? Keep the PS 30 bees Keys? Something else???
  7. OK, so I bitthe bullet and finalised the migration I can't log into the back office using my superadmin username and password. Luckily I had createda temp one n 30 bees and i can still log in with that I tried coping the keys from settings.inc across from pS to 30bees and I can now log in again So question: is it save to copy these keys across and keep using them? Edit: Switched them back and now magically all seems to work. I will check tomorrow with other admin logins. Fingers crossed
  8. @wakabayashi said in second image on hover: navigation It really depends on what you are selling. it would make no difference at all for our products (engineering) where most photos are generic
  9. @araz So we leave your module running for ever? If anything did happen to your module then presumambly customers would simply have to request a new password

    Search Issues

@drmasterchief We are switching to 30bees. But I have to use the PS search.php file to make it work
  11. Almost ready to switch (#sweating) Just a thought, I installed 30bees on a subdomainm then used the migrate module to transfer all products and orders and customers. All looks great When I do flick the switch i will simply ftp the files acrosss and sort out config / urls BUT what about passwords for exisiting staff and customers. Are they not linked to a cookie key in settings.inc.php? Will the passwords still work?

    Search Issues

So I rolled back to the PS version and it now works as expected

    M4PDF module

As an extra In Orders>Invoices if i generate the invoices by date button, all works. It is only if i select generate by status

    M4PDF module

Is anyone else using the M4PDF module? it has installed and everything seems to work just fine, except for one area I can download a single invoice just fine, but when i go to ORDERS > INVOICES to download a few at a time with the same order status I get an error > Cannot find a zone for the invoice address. Check if addresses linked to the order still exist. There obviously is a zone as the individual invoices work So could it be a thirty bees issue?
  15. When i installed the Panda theme it came with a "free" Hover Image module. I don't know if it is generally free, or just with the theme. You can talk to the devs and ask https://www.sunnytoo.com/
  16. The only module I have tried that does not currently work with 7.2 is the paypal module
  17. Rather than copying code to amend a module can you not use Custom payment methods v1.2.4 - by thirty bees
  18. I think there are problems. I could authenticate but not checkout. I linked it to PHP, I narrowed it down to PH7.0 works, anything higher does not https://forum.thirtybees.com/topic/2283/paypal-errors
  19. @datakick Great work. So I can downlod the file from this link and replace the existing one? https://github.com/thirtybees/thirtybees/commit/882ccef588590cb49dfc664ab0da6481a7a1dc12 Or do I need to wait for an offical update?
  20. @baarssen said in Think we will have to leave Thirty Bees - No Avanced Seach 4 compatability: Did you ask for help Yes of course Their reply "We did not tested, and we do not officialy support thirty bees. The core isn't the same as PrestaShop, and it would be hard to make a lot of conditionals regarding this solution." features as a filter Yes, it is actually using ranges for filters which I think causes the problem I will keep looking and trying. But for now we will stick with PS, until I have a little bit more time. I will switch, i am certain, but I need time as too many of our modules are problematic and I just don't currently have time sit and play
  21. @wakabayashi said in Think we will have to leave Thirty Bees - No Avanced Seach 4 compatability: related As certain as I can be, yes. We have the exact same module configuration on PS1.6 and it works fine. Tb is practically a clean installation so not really anything else to get in the way. The module devs confirmed and did not offer to help
  22. @wakabayashi said in Think we will have to leave Thirty Bees - No Avanced Seach 4 compatability: module @wakabayashi it is the criteria. Once a criteria is created it cannot be modified. We make a change and click save. The pop up says it is saved, but the changes are not saved at all. I believe it is linked to those criteria with ranges but I have not had time to fully check. Too busy actually selling to spend much time investigating
  23. I can see it might allow filters, though without documention and front end examples it is difficult to tell. From the back office of th module I can see i can set filters on the features, but only as checkboxes, not as ranges. if I have checkboxes there could be hundreds. let me explain it this way, we have 1 u-bolt that hs 11 mm between the legs, another with 12mm, another with 13 mm etc all the way up to over 800 mm between legs. So we have to have ranges, not just tick boxes (actually selectboxe are even better to minimise screen use. Then those u-bolts could be M6 or M8 or M12 or M16, then they could be znc plated or galvanied or stainless steel, then they could have 20 mm inside height or 21 mm inside height all the way up to over 1000 mm inside height. Ranges are the only way.
  24. @vincentdenkspel Just had a quick look and it looks more like a much improved search. but we need filtering You can see what I mean here: [https://www.u-bolts-r-us.co.uk/125493-u-bolts](link url) It has to be visual, it has to be multiple choice etc a there are so many combinations available. I don't want to move away from this idea as it has taken years to develop and really helps our customers narrow down to the correct item for their needs
  25. I haven't looked at elastic search. Does it allow filter searches based on feature ranges? So for example we have U-bolts and they come in different sizes. We have a feature called "Distance between legs of U-bolt" we need to be able to set that to 0-10, 10-20, 20-30 etc and then the customer can choose a bracket and then move on the the next search criteria I would be happy for you to investigate and see if you can solve the issue. What details would you need?
