  1. The thirty bees core updater isn't connecting anymore for me. Is it for others? @Traumflug's updater is working and connects to his repository. If anyone would like the module: https://github.com/merchantsedition/coreupdater/releases/tag/2.0.0
  2. Yes, wrapping it in a module would be awesome. 🙂 Happy to help test the module.

    Modules lists

That's a good idea. Currently, we only have random modules listed here: https://forum.thirtybees.com/forum/14-module-help/
  4. This has popped up before, with various modules.
  5. Running latest bleeding edge, 1.3.0-main. I am manually creating an order for a product that has a special price of eg. 10 Euro when 6 or more items are being bought. I'd like to specify a different price for this order. So I enter a different price on the manual order page in the backend after choosing the customer and the product. However, the system doesn't accept the manual price; it keeps the special price.
  6. I tried to add a discount to an order and I got this error message when I used the format 10.49. If I used the format 10,49 (so with a comma instead of a period) the system only registered a discount of 10.00. Perhaps related, I was unable to add a 100% discount. The system wouldn't register it. Edit: Running latest bleeding edge, 1.3.0-main.
  7. @datakick 🙂 It would be super to clarify this so we can work together instead of separately.
  8. Likewise, orders and quantities. Products, pricing, etc. would be nice to have but are definitely not necessary. My current module isn't supported anymore but I saw some others are available for PS 1.6, so that's nice.
  9. @TraumflugI picked it up from here.
  10. Regardless of your opinion, @Mark, that tone isn't exactly the most constructive way to make your argument. Regarding your modules, please post what's essential here:
  11. Is there one (third party) module that is essential for your (continued) use of thirtybees? If yes, please state what it does. This question's purpose is to understand how to keep thirtybees as a viable solution. For me, it's a connector to Amazon's EU marketplaces to import orders and sync stock. In general, I'd also like to point people to https://syncspider.com/ It's a nice service that can replace quite a few modules. They're currently having problems importing Amazon orders but they're working on that. The list so far: Amazon connector (sync stock and orders to/from Amazon) Prestalia Fastbay (sync stock and orders to/from ebay) Prestools
  12. I understand this point of view of being hesitant. I've donated somewhat to thirtybees through paid development or one-off donations in the past, etc. However, it took me a leap of faith to become a monthly backer today, albeit with a rather small amount. I'd be happy to contribute more once things develop and stand on firmer legs. In my opinion, if you hand out here in the forum, donate at least a bit on a monthly basis. It doesn't hurt, it'll help attract new users and hopefully we can also get some developers to add their modules to the store. We need an ecosystem with third party modules, as @Traumflugrightly mentioned in his previous post. A lot of necessary services are not supported out of the box. I'd like to stay with thirtybees but I can only do so as long as certain important thirty party modules or connector services exist.
  13. I hope this week will shed some light on what's been going on. I hope datakick and smile are both OK and it's 'just' work or similar. I think that's key. From a financial perspective, without any other backing, I guess we'd need at least around forty to fifty merchants willing to pay ca. 100 Euro per month in order to become sustainable. It feels to me that our community might be too small for that, at least judging by the forum regulars.
  14. After looking at how other shop systems do it I came across a guide for Prestashop that helped me figure it out: https://www.prestashop.com/en/blog/european-union-vat You create the required tax rates per country, so eg DE standard, DE reduced, AT Standard, AT reduced. You give your product the required tax rate of your home country. You go to tax rules and create a tax rule called standard, reduced, etc. You modify it so that it reflects the tax rates you entered above per country.
  15. I use the module but don't have that folder. I'm assuming you're generating data on a regular basis that is being placed there. What's inside it?
  16. Deadline: July 1, 2021 See: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/business/vat/online-sellers_en In brief, if you sell more than 10k Euro net within the EU excluding your home country, each product has to have the destination country's VAT rate. Has anyone implemented this yet? I see how to give each country one or multiple tax rates, but I don't see how to assign each product a specific tax rate based on the country it's being shipped to. For example, if I sell widgets and food to Austria from Germany, I'll need to have Austria's reduced tax rate for food products and their regular tax rate for widgets. And this for every EU country. What am I missing?
  17. Das sollte kompatibel sein, weil für PS 1.6. Die Erfahrung zeigt, dass etwaige Inkompatibilität durch minimale Änderungen beseitigt werden kann.
  18. Hi, I hope you're doing well again. If you are, may we ask what the current status is? Thanks!
  19. The customer is a nice test subject. 🙂 She also noted that you're first asked for the payment method and then for the email address. She chose credit card and was then surprised, understandably, that she needs to enter her email address. Perhaps this should be switched, i.e. first the email address, then address, then the payment method. Thoughts?
  20. A customer commented that what's typical is to first ask for the invoice address and then ask if there's a different shipping address. That's true (in Germany). How is it in other countries? I note it's the reverse in the module.
  21. It works well but nobody wants to pay with cryptocurrencies these days.
  22. Yep, I agree with the what's been written before!
