  1. I'm not sure about this. Even though I understand why you need the money it can't be that much earned for my time in the site. I'd rather donate the equal amount or pay for some kind of premium. Or at least let me choose to participate or not.
  2. @tomik tawk.to is easy to set up but it didnt fit my needs. Also when redirecting mails from contact form on contact page tawk.to wanted to reply to my server who was the sender of the email and according to tawk.to there were no way of handling this. Livezilla solves this perfectly and also has a lot more features and are developed rapidly (check their roadmap on Trello).
  3. @vzex No, I am using Warehouse theme and they have a footer module where I did put the Livezilla code.
  4. I tried tawk.to but didn't like it and hated their rude Support. I have now been running Livezilla since June and love it. Did invest in the paid version. They are also very responsive on email and all bugs I have reported have been fixed or set up to be fixed in their roadmap for coming versions.
  5. @spidawebs Thanks a lot for a very kind and informative message. I checked inventory planner earlier from your previous message. My concern there is that I would like to have 50000-100000 products. We are selling spareparts and even though we only have 2000 in stock there is to much work as our procedure is as of today, when a customer asks for a product we add it to Prestashop. In the feature I would like them all imported by fIle. But with 50k products inventory planner is pretty expensive, especially when most of the products will never get sold. This automisation would be great but we started only 5 months ago and don't have that turnover yet to pay these prices. I think I have to find some middleway with price and features. But the manual way we order goods and keep track of orders today is not a procedure we can stay with for too long cause it generates to many human errors and also takes to much time. Again, thanks for sharing your way of working. Regards Jonas
  6. This is actually what I lack the most in Prestashop. Help with purchase orders and order suggestions Easy way of accepting and scanning incoming goods Support for handheld device with scanner Picklist Possible to make sales reports I know Prestashop do have integrations with Dolibarr and Openerp but I really don't know how good they are? I haven't found the ERP I am looking for yet (I know a Swedish one that's great but it's $550/month). Its Based on acumatica which is pretty expensive too what I have learned. But this is way to much for me.
  7. Yeah, I would appreciate a blog post in the development blog about some kind of standard setting for best performance and "standard" settings for back office.
  8. @spidawebs Thank you. Exactly what I am looking for. As of today I do only have 2000 sku but my plans are to have like 100000 skus, most of them for order from my suppliers. It would be rather expensive when I do get to that point.
  9. I am only using one warehouse and it would be enough with the lighter stock management for me but then I do have the other problem that I have talked about in another thread. Some kind of ERP or help with supplier orders and to report incoming goods. Maybe I can help you later on and set up a test site when you have the time for this project but I think I need to solve this problem right now also in some way. Maybe turn it off and try finding a good ERP too sync with.
  10. I haven't dared to change yet but I have read the threads here in the forum about setting up a testsite and think I will manage to do that myself now.
  11. These bugs I mentioned now I do struggle with in my own live shop. Running Prestashop 1.6.1.11. I can search the Prestashop forum this weekend and see if I can find them again. I have run across them when searching over time so I haven't saved them.
  12. @wakabayashi Do you mean Webincolor or Modulebuddy? Support is important so I can't rely on a module that has people that takes 2 weeks two answer if they answer at all.
  13. @moy2010 I am willing to pay $500-$1000 if I can find something that works with Prestashop / TB and can keep track of my stock and supply orders but the problem is that I haven't found any. Do you know any?
  14. Hi, I have found two strange behaviours. If I do get an order on a product not in stock (with orders allowed) the stock count is set to "-1". When I receive the goods from my supplier I do sometimes send the order product before reporting incoming goods. When I later on report incoming goods of 1 product to the stock it updates and becomes 1, not 0 as It should. I do see two solutions. Either it shouldn't be possible to send an order that has no physical stock cause the product hasnt been reported as incoming yet or secondly the stock should be counted correctly and stay at 0, not 1. Also, sometimes when I use the stock management and change the amount of stock it says it has been updated and the following page also adds stock but when I check in front office nothing happens. I then have to go to the catalogue/product/quantities/ and change the radio button to set the stock manually and save and the change back to advanced stock management and save to get the update.
  15. Either this question was to booring or else I have to assume everyone is using the built in supply order management? Have to keep on searching cause I think it is missing a lot of timesaving features.
  16. How do you take care of your supply orders? I have been searching the net to find something that can give me suggestions with ordering points and also make it possible to accept incoming orders and autoupdate the stock. I have found: My Easy ERP: https://addons.prestashop.com/en/third-party-data-integrations-crm-erp/10863-my-easy-erp.html Advanced Supply order Management: http://www.modulebuddy.com/product/return-manager/ But I haven't tried any of these two and the team behind the last one doesn't answer mails or messages at all. What do you use and how do you handle supply order and incoming goods?
  17. Oki, thank you. Good to know, do also use store manager
  18. I'm interested in this too and would be willing to contribute.
  19. @30knees How did you do that with store manager? Doesn't it just backup the full ftp-directory and SQL?
  20. Oki, thank you. Then I think I will try and make a copy of my site and upgrade to Thirtybees.
  21. Just wondering. Is there any chance google will find the new site and index it and then get duplicate content? Is it possible to change robotfiles to in the cloned site to not make this happen?
  22. I read some article about installing redis and then there were a lot of steps to make it secure. Isnt that something that should be considered?
  23. Would appreciate a guide for us that don't use cloudways if thats possible.
  24. Hmm, I'm wondering how this is supposed to work. I tried tawk.to out. Everything went smooth but I do have some concerns. I do use the contact form on the contact page and have added in back-office contacts that this form should send the inquiries to my tawk.to ticketing email. The problem is that it's my server that becomes the sender so it seems to confuse tawk.to. When replying to the conversation the answer is sent to my server mail and not the entered mail into the form. Is this possible to solve? I tried asking the tawk.to team but they didn't answer emails and in chat they were actually pretty rude and not very customer friendly.
