I saw that there were some security issues fixed in Prestashop 1.6.1.21. Since Thirtybees is based upon 1.6.1.11 are all issues and fixes in Prestashop that is worth adding also added into Thirtybees?

I had a black popup that opened every time I went into the website. It seems to have been removed

@lesley that is the truth. I have tried with iqit for the warehouse theme (I was paying support but have stopped because he doesn't update 1.6) and there is still a problem when you are in a smaller geographical zone which means less demand.

I understand. I like new features and would also like to 7.2 but I do think I will have a lot of problems cause I do have modules that's developed for 1.6 and also pretty unique cause they're aimed for the Swedish market. Cause of that I will probably have to pay all upgrade and developement of those modules cause those companies put all effort into being compatible with 1.7, not Thirtybees. Also I am afraid they won't offer any support at all. That's my concern and unfortunately that's why I still run Thirtybees in dev, not in my liveshop.

I understand @MockoB point. Shouldn't the aim be to close issues before trying to make any drastical changes?

I am also stuck with a lot of Prestashop modules and do also run Warehouse theme...

@rocket you should clone the DB so you dont make any unwillingly changes.

@datakick Didn't mean to stress you ? I am almost always using this forum from my mobile so I have only seen the mobile version. I do think Swedish checkouts like Klarna is really a good model to follow.

You should check it in mobiles. The layout is messed up when using mobile. I think its that overlay that follows when scrolling that destroys the layout.

As much as possible without any problems I guess. Just trying do make my site load faster. Used your modules and saw that it didn't cache anything. Now I have had some help from my hosting company and now it's caching and the site loads faster but seems like APCu has some problems.

Hmm, ok. Is redis working the same way? Cause my checkout uses guest login without users needed to log in so most of my customers wouldn't benefit of APCu then.

@lesley Why is it like this, that it only caches logged in users? I also have experienced some problems with APCu caching back-office pages and therefor showing incorrect settings and different stats in APC.php depending on computer I am using. Regards Jonas

I actually agree with you both. But I think this project can't have to few people contributing and adding competence.

I think it's great that people (you) report bugs but if you're not backing the project there will be noone fixing the bugs in the end when everything comes around.

But isn't said before that you should turn off stats modules for speed in Prestashop? Are these modules really that big difference?

@datakick Do you know how to make that work? What I know the invoice from Patreon should be without VAT if you are a company within EU right? But I do also get charged VAT on my Patreon invoices.

I have used other ERP systems where you have to mount the product before it can be sold. Would this be a possible solution?

@yaniv14 I don't have any problems following the unread posts every day. I am already a Patreon but don't have a TB shop yet. Would also like to pay for services if I need to but this project is seemed to fail if you put your head into the sand stop answering here.

I was also checking out GitHub yesterday and noticed the lack of commits. Would also be glad to know what is going on.

How did your spam start? I did get a lot of postmaster failure emails this morning. Looks like my server is spamming .ru adresses but I have asked my host to look in my exim log and they tell me there is no evidence of my server sending spam. How can this happen if thats not the case? Does it have something to do with the auto responding email but I am not getting the first spam from contact form?

This is what I do too. I remove price and make it unable to buy and set visible to none. Then I add a link to a new product in short description and related products if there is one.
