Since few months, I do not have the time. Is it possible in your cool module to integrate a backround option or so, eg only to send every 365 days per email address?

SLiCK_303 Posted March 9, 2018 Author Posted March 9, 2018 I u/l a new version, this has better group picking, you pick by a dropdown, instead of manually. Also this 'should', not let a person change their birthday, and get another voucher for a year.

Preventing a birthday change on the profile would be too restrictive. A few customers put in like a 1/1/1900 at registration and update to the correct birthday once they start trusting the site. How do you have your server setup to run the cron jobs? Do you have it only running the cronjob module itself (ie. https:///module/cronjobs/cron?token=. Or do you have your server running every cronjob thats in the cronjob module? The only way I can think of this happening, is that you have the cronjob module running twice ( your server is running it twice), or you have your server setup to run all the jobs AND the cronjob module running all the jobs. Or you have in the cronjob module, it setup twice to run the birthdaygift module. I hope that makes sense... My server is setup like it is here. Please give me a screenshot of your cronjob modules setup. Feel free to blank things out like I did in my pic. And....show me a pic of how your server runs it's cron jobs. Thanks....
SLiCK_303 Posted March 16, 2018 Author Posted March 16, 2018 I've tried everything I can think of to duplicate your problem, and I just cant do it. It has to be something to do with the way you are running your cron jobs. There must be a duplicate someplace.

With this one I Removed hard coded '$', and replaced with sites currency, and hide module options when voucher creation is disabled. If you are using a currency other than USD, I recommend you change to this version. This release has added Dutch and German translations, of the BO and emails.

colorful-ant Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 @ipeary if you have installed this module, you can see the cronjob link copy thgis link and ad this to your cronjobs_modul or in your for example plesk panel etc for example, just after midnight once a day instructions for settings - with mouseouver the blue fieldnames

SLiCK_303 Posted September 19, 2019 Author Posted September 19, 2019 (edited) Well, the module is now upto version 2.2.2 these days, so if you haven't upgraded lately you might want to. I just added an option so you can have the module send emails only to people with the newsletter enabled. Thanks @cienislaw for the idea. If you are upgrading, you might wanna go into the modules configuration and change the newsletter option, if desired, and hit save, just to make sure the new variable is saved in your tb config.
