  1. Panda got kicked from Envato for stupid reasons: https://www.sunnytoo.com/9135/selling-transformer-panda-themes-on-sunnytoo I'm happy with the Panda theme, but the community theme has the advantage of always being supported.
  2. Here's a good summary of the GDPR: https://www.twobirds.com/~/media/pdfs/gdpr-pdfs/bird--bird--guide-to-the-general-data-protection-regulation.pdf?la=en
  3. I'm issuing a partial refund to a customer. The system is asking me to enter the quantity returned. I don't think this should be mandatory. For example, goods might get damaged during shipping but the customer still wants to keep them in exchange for a discount.
  4. @lesley said in Anonymize IP active in Google Analytics module?: Interesting. Piwik generally can hold more information than the shop itself. We set it up so we can see all the products a customer views by name, all purchases they make by products, ect. The right to portability doesn't give the individual the right to be able to take all personal data about her in a common, machine readable format. However, any personal data collected under Piwik would need to be provided under the right of access, eg as a PDF. That's why it's generally less burdensome to not tie such information to an identified individual but to a non-identified/identifiable individual.
  5. @lesley said in Anonymize IP active in Google Analytics module?: I have a random question about this as well. I know people do not really like the idea of having to register on our store to download the free modules, but we require it anyhow. However, we don't actually track it with their account. Ie, if you download a module we don't know it was you that downloaded it. We use the build / download stats from GH to keep track. What does that open us up to? Without knowing how GH works, the individual should be able to get an overview of what modules he downloaded.
  6. @lesley said in Anonymize IP active in Google Analytics module?: Does that mean services like Piwik aren't included? Correct. Even if one were to argue that parts of such data are given by the individual, the data is generally not processed based on the legal ground of legitimate interest. The right to portability only applies to data processed based on consent or contract.
  7. No, such log data will likely not be deemed to be provided by the data subject, nor fall under the ratio legis of the provision, which is to prevent vendor lock-in (think Facebook vs upstart social networks).
  8. @lesley The order history export can be solved using the picklist module that @kubilay will release soon. I think it would only need minor tweaks. Also, there is no import requirement.
  9. I've been going through the error logs to troubleshoot some issues. I found the copied error. I don't know whether it's important or not. PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Undefined class constant 'MYSQL_ATTR_USE_BUFFERED_QUERY' in /public_html/classes/db/DbPDO.php:73\nStack trace:\n#0 /public_html/classes/db/DbPDO.php(117): DbPDOCore::_getPDO('localhost', 'lfdsakjf', 'ljljlkjlkj', 'lfdsakjf', 5)\n#1 /public_html/classes/db/Db.php(338): DbPDOCore->connect()\n#2 /public_html/classes/db/Db.php(250): DbCore->__construct('localhost', 'lfdsakjf', 'ljljlkjlkj', 'lfdsakjf')\n#3 /public_html/classes/Configuration.php(421): DbCore::getInstance(0)\n#4 /public_html/classes/Configuration.php(378): ConfigurationCore::loadConfiguration()\n#5 /public_html/classes/Encryptor.php(74): ConfigurationCore::get('PS_CIPHER_ALGOR...')\n#6 /home/agsad in /public_html/classes/db/DbPDO.php on line 73
  10. That's a pity - thought it would be a relatively easy fix. Thanks for replying.
  11. @lesley Any comments on this?
  12. For future reference: https://store.thirtybees.com/shop-modules/front-office/revws-product-reviews has this implemented.
  13. I'd say it's not that black and white. :) But I also think it's beside the point, if I may. We (I) want to help thirty bees and not discuss whether legislation is good or bad. That's a whole different story.
  14. That's a whole different issue. I don't think every law can or needs be understood by lay people (eg technical building regulations), while some do (eg traffic laws and criminal laws).
  15. The law is generally like this. It's often fluffy. That's why there are legal professionals who provide guidance on what the law actually means. The law is unfortunately not intended for lay people to be able to understand or comply with.
  16. It looks like the changes by Google might be the issue. The testing tool is showing the meta tags. Thanks, guys!
  17. @lesley said in Anonymize IP active in Google Analytics module?: We have no good information about what exactly we need to do. I don't think that is a fair statement. You've been offered advice a number of times. I'll chat you.
  18. We've noticed that the meta title and description aren't being indexed by Google. Has anyone else noticed this or has an idea what the problem could be?
  19. Has anybody else experienced that edits in the shop aren't always saved when using Firefox?
  20. The back office module page doesn't show there's an update. Is this no longer pushed automatically from github? Does this affect other native modules, too?
  21. @datakick @zimmer-media Thanks! @datakick Great guide - I'll experiment!
  22. @datakick said in Automatic generate meta title/meta description: my module has mass-update functionality that could be used for this. You can try it, there's 14 day free trial period How would I automatically generate the title and description using the module? I'm having trouble figuring that out. Thank you
  23. Thanks, @datakick! A beautiful module. What is the best way to export a translation for this? I translated via the tb backoffice.
  24. A possible bug: Clicking "Choose rating style" in the latest version gives me this:
