Hi all,

please note that Stripe has released new API version 2022-08-01, which is NOT COMPATIBLE with current stripe module.

You can check what API version is selected for your account in stripe dashboard:

https://dashboard.stripe.com/developers

Native thirty bees module is compatible with API version 2020-08-27

Will there be an update?

We will do the investigation to see how complicated it will be. If it's simple change, we can roll the update soon. Otherwise this will go to backlog, as there are other tasks with higher priority.

Currently the module should continue to work, provided you have selected proper API version in your stripe dashboard.

Which is another way of saying "we don't care if you can't process payments, we have better things to do than make sure our ecommerce software can actually function as an ecommerce software and process PAYMENTS"

You can process payments if you select correct API version in your stripe dashboard. Since there is a workaround for this issue it does not have such priority as other as some other tasks. Believe it or not, there is a ton of more pressing issues we need to work on.

Also, since this is an opensource module - feel free to fix it yourself, or hire a developer and pay him to fix this. Then you can share the fixed version with the community for free. After all, that what you expect from us, isn't it?

FYI,

I have been working on getting the module working with the new API. (for the checkout part)

For now in early testing the change is working.

Hope some will be able to help test it.

Hi @Cassim, could you please post github link to your modified version?

We just released new version of module that fixes this api change issue.

Please test.

  1. update module version
  2. go to https://dashboard.stripe.com/developers and upgrade your API version to latest

Module works perfectly.
I did tests with old Stripe API v.2019-10-17 and new v.2022-11-15.
Zero PHP 8.2 errors, payments posted correctly.

The Stripe module looks good. I prefer to support our tb native / developer modules, though. I'm hoping our native Stripe will be updated (happy to pay for it, too).
