  1. @Mediacom87 thx for your contribution!
  2. The page looks nice! I like the landing pages and the content in general. I would clearly recommend to expand this field. Maybe the site can get some ideas from this one: https://www.chewy.com/petcentral I believe they are amazing, when it comse to content marketing. You should improve the speed of the store. It's too slow here in switzerland...
  3. Version 1.0.3 was just released. Some minor bug fixes, new settings for leaderboard and new german translation.
  4. You can save them in the backoffice. When multiple language are used, the normal dropdown will appear.
  5. @FooLab Thx for the info! I have added the translations directory. Does it now work for you?
  6. It's really interesting how this thread goes on... Btw my example up there, was a template solution. Once you have posted yours solution, I will compare it ;) @MockoB you really should get more realistic about @Traumflug importance for tb. He was committing a lot of code to github. Who do you think will solve bugs like the one from zimmer-media? I guess this plattform has three active and really skilled coders (mdekker, datakick and traumflug). If we lose them, the project is dead as you would say. We both don't want that, right?
  7. lol. Do whatever you like. I will probably leave this community anyway... I better focus on my own projects than give free support/modules...
  8. @mockob said in I will say goodbye: I don't get it why some of the users here think that @zimmer-media has to pay for solving native bugs. There are paid ecommerce solutions and even they don't demand that. The bug is reported many times and not just from one person but at least two, and it must be said that both of them have coding skills, so what if something happens with the majority of the users? So let's get it little more personal. I always buy my modules, and I have to tell that before I buy them, I download them from warez sites to test their functionality. @yaniv14 I contacted you about developing custom theme but you had a lot of work and I found another developers to do that. I will use @datakick's custom services if I ever have running tb shop, to develop a functionality for me. Even more I donated $50 for the elastic search project without ever planning to use that module, and my mother's retirement pension is about $100 monthly. Actually I gave less for charity last year! So please don't blame me or any other here we don't want to pay for development services. That's just not right to pay for native bug and you must understand it! I know you count on our money to make a living but that's not the way to get it! @Mediacom87 as you compared me to one of the many, from the ps community and couple of times mentioned you are here to support tb. I made the effort to read all your 20 some comments on the forum. In more than half of them you are promoting your products, and in the other half you are criticizing and telling people how to run their businesses. I may point you for example other developer on this forum @datakick, if you are 10% supportive as he on the forum, the community will be grateful. Then your opinion will have more weight here, until then I will just ignore it. I am finishing with this topic once again :) I can tell you why @Mediacom87 is acting as he does. Read this thread carefully: https://forum.thirtybees.com/topic/1237/forcing-customer-to-choose-an-attribute I remember I spent at least two hours for a decent approach to solve one of YOUR problems. Your answer was basically like that: It's a hack, it's not professional, I won't use it. Since then I never have done anything custom and I won't for the future. It's just frustrating... Some of you guys just don't understand how many hours a guy like @traumflug spent for tb. Feel free to guess how many hours my free loyalty module took to develop?
  9. @Traumflug I guess in general you are right. Most of beginners understand, that the devs need income. But they often argue, that they aren't in the situation right now, to pay for an open source project. They promise, that when they earn money in future, they will support. Unfortunately most shops don't ever make it to this point. It's interesting that nobody expects a free sever hosting or free domain names. This 15$/month can always be paid. But when it comes to open source, there is no budget left over. I guess this is kind of trap for open source. I once wondered, what would be if every tb user would give 1% of their revenue? Probably it's not a realistic scenario, but would there be enough cashflow, to let @lesley and @mdekker work fulltime on this project?
  10. It also seems to me, that module has a problem to understand if categories or product were related to a criteria. It always showed correctly something like "73 categories". No there is suddenly something like "Applies to no product". I checked the database. The category relations are still there...
  11. I have the feeling that revws moule is sending email to customer, when a review is approved. Even I don't ask for approving. Could this be, cause I imported them? Then they still need approving. Some my customer will make eyes :)
  12. @nickon I understand your point. But you may see it yourself: 90% of the members here are saying either: "I will, when I make income" or "I will, when I switched to TB". Don't get it as an attack. It's just like a fact. Btw: yes the revws module can be used with ps...
  13. @Generaal there are a lot of hosting partners: https://thirtybees.com/partners/hosting-partners/
  14. I wrote a gamification module. So I am aware of motivation aspect :) ;) You are right, but at this point I guess, the community should do such things. Feel free to write a blog post about how you use "revws" module. I am sure it would be published on the blog. For the moment no translation is at 100%. So every merchants could help, if he wants to :)
  15. @Generaal Isn't it already there? You can launch thirty bees with Cloudways... Cloudways is a very good way to start in my opinion. It's cheap but still fast.
  16. Why should tb compensate me for my free module? Actually the merchants, which are using my module could do it, if they like it. Somehow all this threads are the same. There is just no serious userbase with income right now. Some are still on PS. Some are still in launching phase. Some launched but don't have orders. Some have little income. I believe only a very few merchants use tb and live from it.
  17. I dont use this payment methods, so I cant help at all. But I can understand that they are crucial. I am really surprised (and disappointed), that no one did answer your stripe reports and he paypal issue isn't solved too :( I dunno, but maybe you should wait till 1 april, before you throw everything away. From then on there should be regularly blog posts from lesley about tb itself. I think, it can make things much more clear if this project has a future or not. Since you dont ask for any very special stuff, I would expect this to be fixed.
  18. Maybe the leightweight word is very confusing. I meant it in a technical way... It's of course possible to build a theme, which looks nice. But what is nice? To make my point more clear. For theme develeopers it's not easy to start. Should you just use the community theme and change it? But which class can you remove, which not? Very hard to understand. Is the community theme a good starting point? Some might even doubt that... From my opinion a skeleton theme is needed and clear standards.
  19. Well I am 99% sure, that the blog is wrong then... But you can test it out... What the blog writes, would be the logical way, but it isn't like that. Thats why this issues come up every month.
  20. You need to make everything red... Only the things which should be loaded dynamically should be green... @lesley please finally write this into the core. It always confuses merchants.
  21. @mockob said in Plans and priorities for the community theme: If there is someone to design clear and light template with all basic thirty bees features This was actually the goal of the community theme. I guess for tb/1.6 ps it's almost impossible to make something like clear and light template. This is software is so big and the documentation is not really there. I am not a big fan of 1.7 ps of course. But I like their idea of having a plain theme...
  22. I understood it like this: A new merchant wont spent 2000€, if 90% is working for free. He wants to buy some cheaper module and spend 200-300€. He said this in answer to the customization post from you. As you said: you haven't spend yet a big amount for modules. What would you be ready to pay for customization and support? Keep in mind that this things are a way more expensive than modules, which can be sold multiple times.
  23. @nickon That is basically, what he is saying, isn't it?
  24. At least Traumflug is still alive :) good to see you back here @Traumflug
