  1. Today there a new blogpost about the future was published: https://thirtybees.com/blog/thirty-bees-in-the-future/ This ideas will come earliest in the version 1.1, maybe also later. I don't think there is already anybody assigned.
  2. You could try to activate the "profiling" setting. It will give you a lot of information, what makes your site slow. Is it the same for front and backoffice?
  3. https://thirtybees.com/suggestions/multiple-features-values/ back in january... It's already "approved" :yum:
  4. @marci123 Ja es gibt schon einige Shops im Live Einsatz. All unsere Shops laufen auf thirtybees. Hier ein Beispiel: www.spielezar.ch
  5. @alwayspaws said in What to use to put paragraph of text between menu and products?: @wakabayashi Where have you been? I was just 2 weeks away (chess camp with kids). Also I have a lot to do with our business, but of course I am still part of tb - don't worry :)
  6. I have pushed it now over the funding goal :)
  7. What do you mean with an "online manual"?
  8. I would clearly chose div. But I a not aware the newest trends with all this tags. I stronlgy doubt that you should use instead of div. Nav is only for navigations.
  9. There are modules, which allow you, to place content easily to specific hooks. A long time ago I bought a module for this. But I heard, that this free one is good as well: https://contentbox.org/ Another solution would be, to change tpl files.
  10. Thx for your tests. Then there are still some problems. Never could have imagine that favicons can be that much complicate...
  11. https://www.spielezar.ch https://www.chesspoint.ch They should have different icons. What do you see?
  12. It seems that this project is the favourite of most merchants (https://thirtybees.com/blog/crowdfunding-modules/). @lesley when will the official founding campaing launch?
  13. @spidawebs said in Supply order management: plus the ability to be able to track stock coming in and out and an easy way to see the movement history. Yes! Forgot that one. It's very important for all merchants.
  14. Yeah I can understand that, but most business here are probably too small for it. So many people are on a cheap shared hoster. I just wanna say, that thirty bees needs to have better inbuilt function in this area. Of course it doesn't have to be as advanced as such as service. But correct stock management is a must. Also we should think about an alert system for low stocks.
  15. @lesley said in Prices Drop & Best Sales SEO Links - Value?: @dprophitjr I was actually talking about something different. Most of our clients do not like the stock generated pages for those two pages. They like creating categories where they can associate what they want seen on those pages. That is why we redirect them. Sometimes bestsellers are not really what sells best, it might be what a shop wants to move most. Same with the specials. That is why we do them that way normally. Interesting! We did that too, for some time. But in general we don't work a lot with special prices.
  16. @Briljander said in Supply order management: @wakabayashi Do you mean Webincolor or Modulebuddy? Support is important so I can't rely on a module that has people that takes 2 weeks two answer if they answer at all. Webincolor! @spidawebs Nice service! Didn't know them before. But yeah it's quite expensive for small businesses :(
  17. I have had bad expierence with this module developer too. Bought once a module from then. Some weeks lather I complaint, that it's not multistore ready. Got an answer like: "we will launch a new module in some days. This will be multistore ready. So you have to buy this one."
  18. I think this is a weakness of our ecommerce system. I don't know any good solution tbh. I hope we can improve this in future.
  19. @Traumflug said in Indiegogo ElasticSearch project: Looking at the current discussion style, such specification refinement is apparently no longer possible, so I'll stop discussing here. Good luck! Please don't do it. We need you here as well. Cause we need people who ask (critical) questions. This thread will help, to make a better module. We really should define, what the coder has to do and what not. I appreciate the way, you see merchants. Unfortunately not all coders think like that. So lets calm down and go back to constructive discussion ;)
  20. @dprophitjr said in Some ideas for improvement: @wakabayashi You mean like WooCommerce product slider? I've submitted a feature request awhile ago to support oEmbed for thirty bees. @dprophitjr Sorry, what is your question about? I dont know WooCommerce. I just proposed my ideas for a better blog. There are surely more. I can just say, that I implemented a short code system to my blog. You can do so powerful things with it and it saves a lot of time.
  21. Yeah from a trust perspective it would help. But it's just not worth the time, I believe. A good working migrator takes weeks to develop. I think, we just need to give thirty bees time to grow. When people recognize, that it solves problem for them, they will switch. Many things are going on here, which help: - Bug fixes en masse - New features (url rewrite, blog, speed improvements) -> see the new crowdfunding idea. Its in our hands! - Great support in this forum Still there are many people, who believe that PS 1.6 will go on. Wait some weeks/months and they will think different.
  22. @Pedalman I agree the two statements before. Probably you are not yet sure, if thirty bees is the better solution for you. Some weeks ago, I was at the same point. I decided to test thirty bees extensively, before we did the migration. If you wanna test it as well (without any risk!): https://forum.thirtybees.com/topic/357/tutorial-how-to-migrate-from-ps-1-6-to-thirty-bees
  23. @roband7 said in New theme modules for 1.1.x: @wakabayashi said in New theme modules for 1.1.x: @Traumflug said in New theme modules for 1.1.x: Not front office, but anyways: review this large set of statistics modules. IIRC some of them require collecting traffic in the database, which virtually nobody turns on. Stuff like shown on the dashboard page is still interesting, no Google Analytics can show how many products were sold or how many purchases are waiting for being processed. Finally somebody, who says it! I hate this widespreaded opinion, that GA can handle everything. It's helpful to improve your site, but it doesn't tell you a lot about your core business.... On the other hand this area is just too big for thirty bees to reinvent the wheel. I'd rather see us rip all the useless builtin stat stuff out and do a kickass Piwik integration. Piwik runs locally, so it can get a lot tighter integrated than GA, has no privacy and loss of data ownership issues, also comes with plugin support for custom integrations etc. I have no problem with an external solution. But GA is just not good in the key numbers: returns, margins, revenue and stuff

  25. Well we all have many dreams. But I try to stay realistic for now :D New module ideas: - I still believe many merchants have problems to add custom content to their page. So this kind of module could help: https://contentbox.org/ - Google Adwords and Google Shopping integration I am not sure if it's clever to add too many new modules. I would prefer to see improvements on existing modules: - Blog module - Default review module is just horrible.
