  1. We will probably go with 1.7. I do already have a lot of modules which I have bought that do have 1.7 versions. Also my developer which I do have a good relationship with is expert in Prestashop but don't work with other platforms. I do also use Prestashop Store Manager on all of our business computers which unfortunately doesn't officially support TB but supports 1.6 and 1.7. One downside is all custom work in modules that will need to be redone but at least there are modules for 1.7 which will make the move less complicated.
  2. I think this will be the major issue for Thirtybees. PS 1.6 is old nowadays and if moduledevelopers keep dropping support for it there will be problems.
  3. I am still here in the forums and would invest $50 / month if there is a roadmap and a clear objective of what will be done. But my doubts are big about the future for TB so we'll see what happens Q1 2021.
  4. Don't know of any module but that must be possible to track with stock movement and a sql-script.
  5. With this slow movement in negotiations let me have some doubts and concerns of how fast the progress will be afterwards.
  6. This is really the biggest concern. Modules becoming unsupported from developers and not further maintained because they don't support TB. As long as the module and TB is compatible with 1.6 the old module will work but many developers choose to only focus on 1.7.
  7. @30knees did you set it up with smtp-settings ? Do you get bounced email-stats back to Newsletter module in Prestashop too?
  8. I am not sure this was supposed to be something saying different than TS. I only shows that its taking waay to long to close the deal. It's not Amazon that's being sold...
  9. You can charge whatever price you want inside EU but the buyer can order from any destination or site within EU without any problems. Imagine every physical store would be forced to have the same price in all their stores inside EU.
  10. And this sucks. I don't understand how a webshop in 2020 can send passwords in real text. We have had some customer complaints about this. I noticed there are modules that can fix this but this should really be fixed into the core I think.
  11. I have thought of this too. Would have bee great to use features or tags on products to make it possible to segment statistics. A checkbox for "hidden" and then it doesn't show up in frontoffice.
  12. It doesn't recalculate but you can change a lot on the order. It's this module I am using: https://globosoftware.net/product/prestashop-order-management-module-edit-order/ It do work pretty well for our needs but do have some bugs. The one you are referring too is from a scam company "Module Buddy". I ordered another module from them but never got any download but the money was withdrawn. They do never answer emails either. The developers are from my country Sweden, I managed to find the phonenumber to one of them but still haven't seen the money or the module and this was some years ago.
  13. I appreciate your work and this is a welcomed feature. I do already have this feature from the module Advanced Order Management but I would also rather see things like this implemented in core.
  14. We do use Store manager to handle products. For order management we have customized an order management module. The picking is where we right now are trying to optimize. We print delivery notes with locations and then pick by that. We have tested a lot of different picking modules but none seem to have what we need. The best solution would have been an app sorted by warehouse location.

    Goodbye

I do care about the future. That's why I have been around here for almost 3 years and also been a Patreon. But I do already have a developer that I hire. So if that's all that site brings to the table it doesn't do much for me no.

Of course nothing is perfect and there is always something that can be done better. But then you might tell people what those extraordinary features are of that page that will outrule everything else like iPhone did cause that's exactly what's hard for me to find there? It might be something good but I don't understand what the offer is or if it's just an informational page?

    Goodbye

To me it's very unclear what this new site is all about. It seems like an unfinished site. If you want to move people from here to that site I think first thing would be to set up a new forum software. Second, explain in blog post more what it's all about. Third, give people a clue of what the real offer is cause it's hard for me to understand. How much does it cost and what will I get? If it's only a place where I can hire a TB developer I do already have one.
  18. Just wondering, what do you mainly use your erp for? Accounting? Inventory? Orderhandling?

I agree that there is a lot of work and effort put into this project that would be better for everyone not to do allover again but in the other hand I don't think the brand is worth a couple of hundred thousands.

Sure, there is money coming in but I don't think it's enough to give salary to a team of 3-5 persons. If everything is free there is not enough incentives to be become a payer. I agree that it should be open and free but not everything. This has already been tried with this platform and also on Internet since many years. 10 years ago everything was free on the Internet, nowadays you get a free version to get people interested and try to get them to buy the paid version. The only companies I know that have a business model that do work with "everything is free" is companies that sell or use the userdata (Google?).

This was only my personal thoughts. But I don't think we will be enough that do pay $50 a month. The most crucial part is as it has always been, we need to be more people here contributing and we need to attract morr people to join. This was a way of trying to collect more money from us who really can and want to. In the end I am not the owner of TB and have no intention to be either, I don't have that time. But I am willing to pay for a good e-commerce platform which is actively developed and maintained.

    Goodbye

My vision was that it would still be possible to use TB but you won't get any support (hopefully we will still have friendly forum members) and you will not have any influence of the projects roadmap. Maybe also freemium is basic use and not all new features will be available. As long as the platform is competitive against other platform in the market the shouldn't be a problem. And no, I don't think everyone is willing to pay $50 and certainly not $250 a month cause then there are many other good paid options but I do think there must me a distinction between paid and free.

    Goodbye

I guess there need to be both a roadmap which is setup by "the team" about new important features for compatibility, bug fixing and upgrade of versions but also a parallel roadmap which are influenced by the forum and people contributing with money. The votings could be done quarterly and for example $50 gives 1 vote, $100 gives 2 votes, $150 gives 3 votes and so on. Then the money put into the project will also give more influence.

Yeah, even though this is great I guess this shouldn't come for free from developers hired. They should focus on developing TB further but of course also check bug-reports. But for personal support I do think it must come with a cost otherwise the paid developers won't have time to work with what should really be worked at.
