ik heb er meerdere, ook prima

What you also can do is become a member of a trustmark, they test if your shop meets the regulations, and you are granted to show their logo on your shop after aproval. I have read that the most german trustmarks are very expensive, but there is a trustmark in the netherlands which also is certified for germany and they have very reasonable prices. You can read more at: http://www.keurmerk.info/Home/List When i build my shops about 15 years ago i just started and during the time i made them compatible to regulations. The above mentioned trustmark helped me well with it!

I never have done that before. When i setup a product i use a combination module which creates the combinatiosn for me. For as far as i can see it combines in the import and shows it as 1 attribute instead of 2. But i think it should be possible what you want. Maybe 1 of our developers can help you out, dont think its that difficult. Watch my attributes :) https://www.screencast.com/t/vPU3NbrNOO

Its a long list because you combined the attributes. It should be easier if you splitted it into 1 attribute for size, and 1 for color. Maybe you will have to do this manually. Maybe its some work, but it is a 1 time job, after that your attibutes are stored and you can use them any time. In my webshops i also use lots of color and size attirbutes, and i have splitted them into 2 attributes. Some products of me have more then 5000 combinations.

@lesley said in [PrestaShop] Fatal error in module file Class 'Cbdom' not found: Alternatively you can go to India and find the developer and punch him in the face. :punch: :grinning:

i understand your idea, but i think it is easier for you to display that with a counter on your shop. There are special countdown timers for example as a topbanner in which you can display it. Just to avoid indeed the confusion of someone who lives at the other side of the world where its day when its night at your zone. See like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/CPnFvYeNgE

i think cart rule will be more difficult because customers only see it when they go to their cart. But why dont create it with a catalogue rule, and keep your cart rules for other (for example customer related discounts) Keep it simple fo your customers, but also keep it simple for yourselve :)
-
Yes there are special modules for it, and they work both with date related catalogue and date related specific prices. The module i use came with my theme, but i think if you search they will be available solo.
-
Why dont you use a count down timer, thats for everyone equal and much easier to manage i think. And dont forget: we as merchants are always doing our best to make it our customers as comfortable as it could be, but if someone wants to get a real nice offer they also have to do something for it :) But with a countdown timer you will never get any angry messages.... well, also i am not sure about that :)

Would a migration only copying data to a clean install be feasible
Baarssen replied to hubbobubbo's question in Migrations
well i have :) The only thing it doesn migrate is your theme settings etc. It migrates your products, attributes, stock, carriers, taxes, customers, orders etc. but thats what i think is the power of it because you can build up clean without the errors made in the past. What module do you use for reviews? Because normaly you can export it with a csv file and import it back into your new shop -

i cant say it enough: install a clean installation and migrate your data with: https://addons.prestashop.com/en/data-migration-backup/8934-migrationpro-prestashop-to-prestashop-migration-tool.html It works like a charm! -
GoShippo - a great Shipping Service with many delivery options
Baarssen replied to alwayspaws's question in Module help
Are there no carriers around in uk/us who have a prestashop module when you become a customer? I have never paid 1 penny for a shipping solution(exept ofcourse the shipping costs) Carriers are happy to welcome you as a customer and lots of them have solutions with prestashop... at least in the netherlands there are. You only have to ask them because most of them dont advertise with this solutions, also not on addons store. for netherlands, germany, france, austria and belgium you have already this free tool: https://www.sendcloud.eu/ -
it looks like he still recognizes the other module. maybe you have to remove everything manually and then install the desired module. Sometimes that happens because not everything is deleted after deinstalling a module so the platfom is getting confused. Dot be afraid to delete it, you can grab it from a fresh installation if you want it back.

Thirtybees / Modules / Themes
Baarssen replied to Kleijn36's topic in Nederlandstalig Forum - Algemeen
Succes! -
http://www.globosoftware.net/prestashop-modules/prestashop-order-management-module-edit-order/ I use thisone for almost 1 year. You can edit almost anything including the ordernumber etc. And yes it works on Thirtybees!

Nice, did you also manage to setup the knowledge base? Livezilla has many possibilities but if you follow the install instructions its not very hard to setuo

PayPal Checkout Button - paypal popup disappears
Baarssen replied to alwayspaws's question in Module help
I read more often about failures from paypal modules. I use a payment provider which also supports paypal/creditcard/Ideal/etc. etc. Ofcourse this cost me an extra 10 cts per payment... but i have never had any problems during thousands and thousands of payments. Payment is ofcourse a very important thing in a webshop, isnt it worth to implement a payment provider which works always without problems? Maybe its simple to me, or i misunderstand the posts, but those few cents doesnt make any sense when your shop works likes it has to? -
I figured out what happened. I tested a SEO module: https://codecanyon.net/item/prestashop-advanced-seo/13742677 This module ads H1, H2 etc At least we know this module gives failures with Thirtybees without modification.

I dont know about the redirect, but the chatbutton appears, and that is correct :)

haha, well i think you dont have to be afraid os something. I have this as a test because i am not going to use it. If people come on that page they will have to know the exact url, i sont think customers will look for that. you can also block the page for being indexed so it doesnt appear in google etc. Maybe there is a solution on the livezilla help page. But as said its not that big as you think
