As template and the shop is opensource, One can always modify the template to its own needs and looks.

For own needs one can delete unwanted parts from template.

It seems that people this days are more and more lazy and want served everything and for free. What newbies need to understand, that platform is free, and if its not totally the way one would want it, it can always be modified by own or paid modifications. Mostly there are no problems with the shop, only problems are the users wishes and no will to configure/modify to own needs. Even on paid platforms one can not configure everything, or one might get rid of the footer copyright on paid platform, and that removal costs 150€. So one have to decide if its time or money that will be spent. Most decide for first option, but there are always some that wont spend time nor money.

This is not correct solution for the problem, but removing the one at least don't empty other fields once saving. For correct solution someone like @datakick or @Traumflug should take a look to see what can be done.

As @datakick said, that is not in core. It never was, and I'm using PS (now TB) from Start of 2011. This is so called "customer bug" and can not be fixed.

Bleeding edge 1.1.x is the newest version and it includes most recent bugfixes.

Store information is normally in the footer, and the one on slideout menu is there for showcase and one can alter that menu template to own liking and needs, as , header menu is currently only visible on devices with screen width of max 767px

There is a bug in AdminTranslationsController.php which showed up after new version was introduced which does not need max_input_vars. But, the one who rewrote the controller did not test it enough before putting it into official version. You can either replace the controller with version from 1.0.8 or temporary modify the current one so existing translations don't get deleted. Not able to save empty string means you are not able to save blank field.

If hook is set to Left Column Blocks, it should work right out of the box. However, it will show up only on the pages, for which left column is set to enabled

Now there will 2 choices for Home button. One will act as button for going home, other will open sidebar with following modules: blockLink, blockstore and blockcontactinfos. Will upload the changes soon

Have realized I have the script ready for 4 different sidebars. Will modify the 4th unused sidebar so one can choose between home link or opening sidebar which one can customize for own needs.

As home in shop has only one function, going to shop home, there is no need for extra slideout menu, therefore only button is enough. Therefore if such modification is needed, you should check how the script is made and how other buttons open the menus, and adopt that change for your own needs. I run my Live shop with very latest bleeding edge. Have no problems with it. However, I don't use guest checkout, every customer should register from my point of view 🙂
